'Many more than some of you have been alive, that we've been together.'

Abedin, the longtime close aide to Hillary Clinton, arrived at 2:05 p.m., wearing a trim black suit and high black pumps, carrying a white handbag. She was with her lawyer and only offered a polite, “Hi” to reporters. Thirty seconds later, Weiner arrived with his lawyer. The disgraced former congressman from Queens wore black slacks, blue-grey blazer, brown shoes. “I have no comment at all,” he said as he posed for photographers. “Got what you need? I’d hate for you guys...

Four years ago, when art Professor Elizabeth Stephens filmed the documentary “Ecosexual Love Story,” in which she and her partner licked trees, played with mud, and made love with the environment while naked, the term “ecosexuality” was still somewhat unknown. But a lot has happened since then, and ecosexuality isn’t such a mystery anymore. That interest can be traced in part back to Stephens, a UC Santa Cruz professor and one leader in the movement that melds art, sex and environmentalism, a la having sex with a tree or marrying the ocean. That interest can be traced in part back...

For a generation, progressives have portrayed fascism and Nazism as exemplified by sexual repression and moral conservatism. In this view, the left has an anti-Nazi sensibility because the left is into bohemianism and sexual expression. In my new book, “The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of American Left,” I show that the fascists and Nazis, far from being repressed moral conservatives, were themselves sexually and stylistically bohemian. In style as well as in ideology, fascism and Nazism are phenomena of the political left. The whole notion that fascism and Nazism are forms of sexual repression is the invention of...

Brian Flood of The Wrap reported on Twitter that NBC and MSNBC star Katy Tur is having trouble with her transgender father again. "Hanna Zoey Tur ripped daughter, NBC's Katy Tur, as 'transphobic'" in Facebook message: "My daughter does not support the LGBT community." This is quite a surprise, given the negotiated peace between father and daughter as projected in Sunday's New York Times puff piece by Luisita Lopez Torregrosa. Ironically, although the Times headline was "You Can't Rattle Her," asking Tur about her father obviously rattled her: {..snip..}

“Today’s executive order, directing the Environmental Protection Agency to begin rolling back environmental protections and policies including the Clean Power Plan, is a misguided step away from a sustainable, carbon-free future for ourselves and generations to come. It is essential, not only to our planet, but also to our economic future, that the United States continues to serve as a global leader in solving the climate crisis by transitioning to clean energy, a transition that will continue to gain speed due to the increasing competiveness of solar and wind.No matter how discouraging this executive order may be, we must, we...

A decade ago, Al Gore's 2006 faux-umentary about climate change called "An Inconvenient Truth" won two Oscars. No, it wasn't in the propaganda or fantasy category, though it should have been. It was filled with so many falsehoods that a British judge said it could not be shown to students unless it included a notice pointing out the errors. A quick Google search shows there is no shortage of articles outlining the movie's flaws and identifying Gore as the carnival huckster that he is.("An Inconvenient Sequel:) Truth to Power," scheduled to open this summer. No doubt the politically correct voters...

A group of executives who want to fight global warming has published a new report calling for countries to spend up to $600 billion a year over the next two decades to boost green energy deployment and energy efficiency equipment. The Energy Transitions Commission’s (ETC) report claims “additional investments of around $300-$600 billion per annum do not pose a major macroeconomic challenge,” which they say will help the world meet the goals laid out in the Paris agreement. ETC is made up of energy executives, activist leaders and investment bankers, including former Vice President Al Gore, who would no doubt...

Former U.S. vice-president Al Gore is warning against massive geoengineering experiments that attempt to reverse climate change, arguing instead that the focus must remain on cutting emissions that are warming the planet. “I don’t think it’s a good idea,” Mr. Gore told the TED Conference in Vancouver. Mr. Gore said such Band-Aids aren’t the solution. “We have to stop the pattern of behaviour that is creating this crisis,” said Mr. Gore, who was not on the TED program, but was called up from the audience. “There is a collision between human civilization as it’s presently organized, and the surprisingly fragile...

Al Gore believes that Donald Trump will not halt the momentum of the climate movement even if he withdraws the US from the Paris agreement. The environmental activist said that he was confident Trump would commit to the historic climate change agreement, but that even if he did not, it would still not be enough to reverse the move towards renewable energy in many American cities. “I think there’s an excellent chance that he will surprise many by deciding to stay in the Paris agreement,” Gore said. “The Paris agreement has an historic significance of its own,” he said. “And...

Former Vice President Al Gore said Sunday that President Trump ignored science and Mother Nature in pulling out of the Paris climate change accord, saying nightly news reports resemble “a nature hike through the Book of Revelations.” That helps explain the Trump administration’s clumsy explanation for the president’s decision to exit the agreement, said Mr. Gore, who is chairman of the Climate Realty Project and a leading advocate for reducing carbon emissions. “The administration comes off as tongue-tied and confused about the climate crisis because the truth is still inconvenient for the large carbon polluters and they don’t want to...

Bill O’Reilly gave his first interview since his firing from Fox News in April on Glenn Beck’s radio show on Friday.Beck, while stating prior to the interview wouldn’t be about O’Reilly’s firing, nonetheless spoke to the former cable news powerhouse about his unceremonious dismissal. “Look, the entire ordeal was a hit job, and in the weeks to come, we will be able to explain some of it. It really has to do with destroying voices that the far-left doesn’t like. That’s the general tone,” O’Reilly said. O’Reilly went on to explain in vague terms “due to the legality,†of...
