OCALA, FLORIDA: A Florida woman was arrested for "acting out of control" at an Outback Steak House, and a Mojo Grill near Silver Springs, after she was found naked at the eateries, erratically throwing out alcohol bottles. Identified as 53-year-old Tina Kindred, the woman has since been charged with aggravated battery on law enforcement and felony criminal mischief after she flung wine bottles at a responding officer at the second eatery. (WJLA) - A family says they are left heartbroken and saddened after they were asked to leave an Outback Steakhouse restaurant in Glen Burnie, Maryland on Saturday night because of their son who has neurological challenges. Amanda Braun's son, Killian, was born with a neurological disorder that affects his speech called Childhood Apraxia of Speech. The disorder affects Killian in many ways especially communication and behavior. Sometimes when he speaks, his words are unclear. Outback Steakhouse came to our Base today and fed 1,000 folks from several branches of the Military a GREAT meal today. It was all donated and Outback Steakhouse employees cooked and served. It was such a wonderful treat, I just had to publicly thank them. We had steak and baked potatoes, green beans, pasta, bread, salad and either cheesecake or a chocolate brownie. Can't tell you much we appreciated this gesture for us military folks here at home!

PHOENIX -- The Outback Steakhouse restaurant chain was sued Friday by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which accused the company of denying women job opportunities and training needed to reach top management jobs. The federal lawsuit accuses the restaurant chain, owned by Tampa-based OSI Restaurant Partners, Inc., of denying women opportunities to be hired or promoted into management positions.
