Retired special operations officers from the U.S. military have organized their own political action committee designed to highlight what they see as unforgivably security leaks by President Obama and his team.Named Special Operations Speaks (SOS) PAC and led by three former officers with special operations experience, the group is leading a petition drive to try to raise the profile of recent stories blaming Mr. Obama for intelligence leaks."Let me lay it on the line: Barack Obama's loose lips are doing worse than sinking ships – they're putting our entire nation at risk," the PAC said in an email trying to...

Today, Special Operations Speaks PAC released the following statement along with a petition demanding an independent investigation into Barack Obama’s administration and its actions that may constitute High Crimes and Misdemeanors by the President, regardless of the outcome of the November 6th Presidential Election. “It remains uncertain if the tragedy in Benghazi was caused or compounded by Obama’s reckless inaction, gross negligence, or incompetent leadership,” said Joe Stringham, BG, USA (Ret), Special Forces/Ranger and Chairman of Special Operations Speaks PAC. “What is clear is that the deaths of Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen...

((snip)CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER TO JUAN WILLIAMS: You think that the administration is withholding information that could serve them? This is an administration that when they did the raid on bin Laden, SEAL Team Six, and they had a ton of information -- a lot of that should never have been released, which served them well -- they released it almost immediately in a scandalously open way because it exposed a lot of methods and a lot of our people. This is not an administration which has shown itself to be a keeper of secrets that would actually help it.

I was listening to Rush and he said that there's a blog site populated with ex-USN SEALs, and they are seething with outrage about what happened in Benghazi and the subsequent cover-up. Apparently, information has come out that USN SEAL Tyrone Woods, who was subsequently killed, was on site "painting" the mortar unit shelling the embassy with a laser. That would indicate that a C-130 was flying above and had locked on to the target and was ready to hit it. The fact that nothing further happened indicates that someone called off the mission at the last moment. The Seals...

Video at link... Intelligence and Special Operations forces are furious and frustrated at how President Obama and those in positions of authority have exploited their service for political advantage. Countless leaks, interviews and decisions by the Obama Administration and other government officials have undermined the success of our Intelligence and Special Operations forces and put future missions and personnel at risk. The unwarranted and dangerous public disclosure of Special Forces Operations is so serious -- that for the first time ever -- former operators have agreed to risk their reputations and go 'on the record' in a special documentary titled...

It was only a few months back that there was plenty of hearty suspicion going around concerning the White House’s involvement in a specific string of high-profile national-security leaks to the media, and on MSNBC’s Meet the Press this morning, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman suggested something of the same vein in regards to yesterday’s report on possible negotiations between Iran and the United States, via the NJ: Portman, R-Ohio, said that the fact both countries are denying the story makes it look like another inappropriate leak from the administration rather than a diplomatic breakthrough. It looks like “another national security leak...

Former Navy SEALs are speaking out after President Barack Obama referred to recent events in the Middle East, including the deaths of two former Navy SEALs, as "bumps in the road." Tyrone S. Woods and Glen A. Doherty were providing security at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya when it was attacked on 9/11. They were both hailed in the aftermath of the attacks by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Both had gone into private security after retiring from the Navy after distinguished careers. Former SEAL and current Montana State Senator Ryan Zinke issued the following statement: The President refuses...

Last July, a top Pentagon official gave two Hollywood filmmakers the name of a Navy SEAL involved in training the squad of commandos who carried out the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. Now, the Obama administration is fighting to keep that same name from the public. In legal papers filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Washington, the Justice Department argued that the government is under no obligation to make public the SEAL's name or the names of Central Intelligence Agency personnel involved simply because officials shared their names, partial names or identities with the makers of a forthcoming...

The Obama administration has gone to extraordinary lengths to publicize details of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, even as it threatens to file criminal charges against a former Navy SEAL because he provided the same type of mission rundown in his recently published book. An examination by The Washington Times shows that several details in the book “No Easy Day” already have appeared in print based on interviews with administration officials and likely will be included in an upcoming movie and another book. Perhaps the most detailed account of the raid appeared in a 2011 New Yorker article...

WASHINGTON, DC – Special Operations Speaks (SOS) today called upon Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to resign from office for his claim that Barack Obama had special authority to provide classified information about the Navy SEAL attack on Osama bin Laden to Hollywood filmmakers and others with no security clearance. Panetta made the claim in a September 10th interview on CBS This Morning. As he threatened to punish former Navy SEAL “Mark Owen” for revealing details about the assault on the bin Laden compound in his book No Easy Day, he stated that Department of Defense release of top secret information...

....There are three things wrong with the bin Laden raid that suggest Obama is unsuitable as a wartime president: the planning, the execution and most importantly, the aftermath. Let’s examine those in reverse. Putting publicity ahead of victory. Obama ran to the cameras and raced to tell the world that bin Laden was dead– just hours after his body bobbed beneath the waves in the wake of the USS Carl Vinson. He was anxious for the credit, not realizing that the credit would keep. He forgot about the military advantage of surprise. In his hurry, Obama forgot the two trash...

Identifying the Special Operations Force behind the Usama bin Laden raid amounted to placing a target on the back of the team members as well as their families, according to the parents of Aaron Vaughn, a member of SEAL Team Six who was killed in Afghanistan in 2011. The Vaughns spoke with Fox News as part of an ongoing report on the war in Afghanistan for an upcoming episode of the "Fox Files." While the Vaughns do not believe their son was part of the bin Laden mission, they said the entire team shared the victory, and eventually the shock,...

The Pentagon has threatened “severe repercussions” against a former Navy SEAL for writing a book about the mission to kill bin-Laden. “The fact of the matter is that the mission to kill bin-Laden is the exclusive intellectual property of the President of the United States,” Pentagon press secretary, George Little said. “No accounts of this event may be published without the express permission of the Commander-in-Chief.” Little warned that “the book represents a serious security breach” and reminded the author that “the President is not without potent options for neutralizing this threat. We’ve already penetrated the pseudonym the author tried...

[As the anniversary of that horrifying holocaust on 9/11 approaches, I just witnessed the most riveting first hand account of Seal Tea 6's heroic raid on Bin Laden's compound on 60 Minutes. He revealed no top secret info, yet, at this time, he is under threat by enemies at home and abroad, including the Pentagon for telling the story every American should hear. An Obama spokesperson has already threatened the Seal author, so lets support him by buying his book "No Easy Day."] Joe Biden: " I'll give you two good reasons why we should reelect President Obama - General...

The Taliban is using fake Facebook profiles of cute girls in an attempt to befriend soldiers with the intent of gathering information about operations, the Sunday Telegraph reports. Australian and coalition troops are being targeted by Taliban insurgents posing as “attractive women” on Facebook, according to the paper, and now troops are being warned about the potential danger. A review by the Australian government found a false sense of security exists among personnel due to an excessive reliance on privacy settings. According to the Telegraph, troops are being told that geo-tagging – the process of websites that secretly logs the...

The Obama administration, to its everlasting shame, has eagerly leaked sensitive national security information to advance its own partisan political interests. The killing of Osama bin Laden by special forces who had been on the job for years was the most grotesque, but not the only, example. Special forces operators and intelligence officials were outraged by Obama’s leaks, as were many others, including Democratic Senators. So a bunch of special operators and intelligence professionals got together to protest against the Obama administration’s irresponsibility. The result is this video, titled “Dishonorable Disclosure.” It is dynamite: the production values are excellent, and...

Mark Owen’s book “No Easy Day” was released this week with much controversy. It details the actual events that led to the death of the world’s most wanted terrorist, Osama bin Laden. The truth didn’t come close to the narrative released by the White House. The book is less than flattering of the Obama Administration. After the book was published and released to the public the Pentagon declared that the book contained classified information and the Chief of Naval Special Warfare Command declared the book provided insight to secret military operations. Nondisclosure Agreement When working in Special and Black Operations,...
