The WORLD PEACERS of the Quakers (aka the Quackers) and PeaceActionMC supported Georgia this Saturday - sort of. While all the anti-war, no, anti-U.S. anarchists, are always protesting against ONLY the democracies in the world, they never seem to protest against the dictators, terrorists and real aggressors around the world. There are some even comparing Russia to the U.S. lead coalition in Iraq. But as was heard on a conservative talk show (forgot who), Georgia is a fairly democratic society, with a duly elected government. Iraq surrendered in 1991 and was to abide by the terms of the surrender, which...

The passing motorist really showed their support this Saturday. With the weather in the low 80s and humidity down, no dog day of August this Saturday, the passing cars and trucks were just overwhelming us with supportive waves and honks. Even the trucks were blaring their air horns. A great day to be supporting our troops. Below are some of the pictures of our supporters. [Mrs] T got a lot of Double and Triple waves today. And lastly, a Patriot from Connecticut: And then there were the 9 Patriots who stood on the corner. We were: Legionnaires Glenn (WWII -...

It was a great day to get in shape for our counter to the “Out of Iran” Protest in D.C. later this afternoon. BufrpdP, Cindy_True_Supporter, Eager, Fraxinus, [Mrs] T and myself had a quick lunch at the Olney Compound before heading into the lions den. It is a great Monday today to post this AAR, even if it is a week late. Our counter to the "Out of Iran" protest and its AAR has thrown of my schedule. This past Saturday's Support the Troop Freep in Olney will be on time. The roll call of our 10 Patriots included Legionnaires...

U.S. Army Lt. Gavin, Cindy_True_Supporter’s son, was out in Olney for the last two weeks. Surviving being seriously injured by a drunk driver, being at Walter Reed for a short time, and finally finishing ROTC and graduating a lieutenant, Lt. Gavin has spent time at both the Walter Reed and in Olney FReeps before leaving for his Pacific duty station. Gavin had a good time the last several Saturdays talking to all the Legionnaires that regularly come out to Olney. Even the Marines. And us non-service types. [Mrs] T and I are very Marine oriented so a Marine flag at...

Last time we were in Westminster a passerby couldn’t let the moonbats go unopposed. He had driven by on one of his rare Saturday’s off from work and was disgusted at the moonbats’ signs. He went home, wrote out a quick sign and came to protest the protesters. (BELOW) is the result. Apparently the moonbats believe that only they do not have to obey the laws. They were so upset over the “Clueless Morons” sign that they complained to the Westminster police. I can hear them whining now, “They they they werrrr on ourrrr side botherrrring us”. An officer showed...

Pics by [Mrs] T The nine moonbats that showed up this week once again received almost no honks as the stood and sat, holding their signs belittling our soldiers tremendous efforts. Research by Harvard shows a correlation between active anti-troop protest and attacks on our troops. ”We find that in periods immediately...

WOW and DOUBLE WOW is the only way I can describe the Patriotic Americans that attended the Walter Reed and Olney FReeps. It’s Saturday afternoon as I started this combined AAR and my heart still pounds with pride over all those who came out, especially to Walter Reed on the evening of the Fourth. Since I’m honored this week to write the Walter Reed AAR and usually write the Olney AAR, I had to combine the two because of their similarities. Several weeks ago a question as to who will be at Walter Reed came up. About 4 or 5...

No Dirty Dozen this week but a dozen of clean shaven gents and wise lady Patriots were in Olney today. They included Legionnaires Glenn (WWII - USMC), Francis (WWII - Army), Dave (WWII - Army), (YES - that is 3 WWII Vets!!), Halsey (Korea - USMC), Frank (Korea - Army) Lurker Bill, Fraxinus, Olney-Keith, PrezUSA222, Sensei Ern {Mrs} Trooprally, aka [Mrs] T, and myself, [Mr] T. After spending the winter in a warmer climate, 3DJoy in back in town for the summer. And she’s back in style. Just arriving last week, she was at Walter Reed, spent Friday night at the Olney Compound and was out at Olney, cheering for our brave troops. Then lunch at Dave’s Bistro. For those who know the place, they actually have a 6 page menu now. And the weather was almost perfect, just a little on the warm side in Olney. What a way to spend her first weekend in town. The heeeat is on!! All right, no more cold wet FReeps for a while. Our cooler was loaded with ice cold water and sodas, our flags and banners were out, signs were held high, then a Montgomery County truck carrying recycle bins with a busted gas line font color = "blue">BELOW: broke down in front of Lurker Bill’s regular spot. We gave the truck passengers some soda and chatted with them until we left. The gas evaporated quickly in the heat and was not a danger. Not sure if the County will acquire carbon offsets for the fumes it released....

The Big Flag was out once again for the old Memorial Day Weekend. Some how having Memorial Weekend so far out of sync with Memorial Day seems wrong. Beautiful weather for a somber weekend of remembrance. The wind was blow enough to unfurl our flags that so many have died defending, Rolling Thunder was in D.C., our Legionnaires were placing flags at local cemeteries, and in Olney we had a good number of patriots to show our military that Americans still love them. The roll call of our 13 Patriots included local Jan, Legionnaire Bill (Army - see his story below), Lurker Bill, Cindy_True_Supporter, Eager and his 2 boys, Fraxinus, Kburi, Sensei Ern, VictoryNY, {Mrs} Trooprally, aka [Mrs] T, and myself, [Mr] T. Pictures are worth a thousand words, so the pic below says it all. Trash truck is waiting for the green light and the reporter get out of the way, before trucking the moonbats away. And since I mentioned the reporter (in yellow jacket), she represents the Greater Olney Civic Association (GOCA). GOCA is a community organization representing over 30 Homeowner's Associations in the Olney area. GOCA has received emails about who we are, among other questions about goings on in Olney. So GOCA has decided to answer the emails by video taping answers to various email questions and posting the...

May Day, the communists' day of celebration is a day that the moonbats look forward to every year. This year they were especially thrilled with a flashback to their early days. Fraxinus (BELOW) wore a different style t-shirt this Saturday but from across the intersection, it was a flashbcak to the psychedelic, intoxicating, 60s. Bringing this thread back to reality, we had another great visitor to our FReep. Frank is a marshall from the Gathering of Eagles events. While not loggin to GoE, he was at the WWII Memorial during that bitter cold, windy March 17, 2007 day. And he...

An Appreciative Local must have thought we were hungry as he drove past us because he bought us (BELOW - that is Eager helping Lurker Bill on our left flank) a bag of McD's double cheeseburgers and a bag of 20 oz. sodas. This meant he had to stop at two places since McD's does not sell bottled soda. Most of us chowed down immediately. This Saturday we had also bought some Dunkin Donuts with the gift certificates (4 - $10 certificates) that another appreciative local gave us several months ago. It had been too cold to buy donuts previously...

Several weeks ago we had the local Mongomery County Sentinel newspaper interviewed the two opposing groups. Because the Sentinel requires a PAID subscription to view and link to its articles, I have received permission from JimRob to not link to the article so long as I don't put large portions of the article in this AAR. The moonbats (BELOW) brought in their reinforcements today. They totaled 8 hardened, grumpy Quackers. Our faux marine was again AWOL but that is to be expected from him, and they lost their American flags. This is my story and Hitlery's handlers are not going to get me to change it and B. Hussein O. can't "change" my mind by spouting his "typical" dribble. Where is Doctor Raoul's gas mask when we need it? The three moonbats that showed up today had all 16 patriots shaking in their boots and ducking for cover when a strange green cloud blew over to our side of the street. It was so bad that several patriots had to deploy to the other two corners. Luckily the brisk wind soon dispersed the strange odor and we we back to...

"TYPICAL" is now a word back into our vocabulary. Possibly the one who recently uttered this word can really unite these United States by saying all of us are "Typical" Americans. But I think NOT. We are going to give the "typical moonbat" top billing this week because the pics are so "good". "Typical" had become a divisive word for those on the receiving end unless one is a PATRIOT, defending our freedoms and standing up for those who defend it. We relish in being called a "TYPICAL AMERICAN", or even a "Typical FReeper". But to call a moonbat a...

Patriotic Americans are being urged to wear red, white and blue clothing this Wednesday, March 19, 2008, to show support for our troops and their mission on the fifth anniversary of the liberation of Iraq from the terrorist regime of Saddam Hussein.Anything from scarves and ties to a full blown Uncle Sam suit will do. When someone compliments you on your patriotic attire, take the opportunity to explain to them why you're wearing the red, white and blue on Wednesday. The anti-American left will be out in the streets across the country that day protesting and rioting. Most of us will...

While All the Young Eagles were Marching in DC, the Old VETS were Covering Olney for Ya!! The ever faithful USMC and Army American Legionnaires and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Halsey, Glenn, and Frank were there early, along with Navy vet iMacMan. We were soon joined joined by Legionnaires Dave and Francis -- their first time on the Saturday corner. We hope it's not their last! Shortly afterwards, Eager joined us as well. The hapless Moonbats were outnumbered for quite some time before a new feller and a couple of unidentified co-conspirators joined them, but they left soon after...

Today, if you already didn't know, the moonbats have their heads in a fog. They are just lucky to be in these great United States of America where they don't have to experience the real "Fog of War". But the are unlucky to be on the butt end of this and other AARs. BELOW: The only pic of the moonbats for this thread. Their numbers keep getting fewer and fewer. If the saying about "In like a lion, out like a lamb" is true, I'm looking forward to better weather for the March 15 Support the Troops March (In particular, check out Posts 89 and 101) and Walter Reed's 3 Year Anniversary. Winds were at a constant 20 MPH with gusts up to 35 MPH. Being in the upper 40s there was no real wind chill. But being so windy, none of our banners were put up. I felt naked without the "grassy knoll" behind us full of banners. We did put up the large flags on our flanks and...

As at Walter Reed the night before Olney, sick FReepers and bad weather kept our troops' supporters down. The same continued into Saturday morning. But our small numbers did NOT keep down the warm support we received from the locals as they drove by. Our few but proud and enthusiastic PATRIOTS included Legionnaires Halsey (USMC - Korea), Frank (Army - Korea), and Lurker Bill, iMacMan,, and my self, [Mr] T. iMacMan took all the great pics this week, but alas, there are none of him this week. We had 3 cars while stopped at the lights, thanking us for supporting...

Friday night at Walter Reed was mild but windy, but this morning at Olney was very chilly and windy. Do I hear violins yet from our northern FReepers? Our saving grace was Pam Cole from Blue Star Mothers of Maryland, who brought ALL us hot cocoa from Starbucks. The "Old Line Chapter" was formed this past July 01, 2007. BELOW TOP: Pam arriving with the hot cocoa. BELOW BOTTOM: Chilly FReepers gathering like bears to a honey pot. BELOW: We also had a Joe Falcione (at left of pic) from www.reliantfilms.net stop by. NOT!!! Reflections - a photographer's worst nightmare. While sunny days are tough when the sun is in the back ground, cloudy days are tough from any angle. iMacMan had his problems this week taking his famous pics of passing cars. The windows showed everything. But iMacMan persevered. BELOW are this weeks pics. Not sure how iMacMan does it but he always gets some great pics, reflections and all. We once again had 10 "PATRIOTS" today. iMacMan's and [Mrs] T's pics were so good this week, that I decided to post all but a few. After last week's 6 hour FReep, this week was "boring" except for our support from passing cars and some passerbys who stopped by. The moonbat's "He's not a real Marine", after being out lasted last Saturday by the Olney FReepers, packed up when the moonbats all left. We are not sure how he got to the corner this week, but he left walking with his card board signs and camo Marine flag. Then he had to come back and retrieve a dumb bell that he some how used to support his flag. We thought that maybe he got his second...

Our moonbat "marine" decided that he didn't like our cries of "Cut & Run", "Wimps", "Traitors", etc., when the moonbats were breaking down at 11:30AM. He decided to hold a one person anti-troop demonstration of his own, with card board signs that drivers could hardly read. With the camo Marine flag and no other moonbats around, it almost looked like he supported our troops. But with the lack of honks directed towards him, I guess his 'signs' were just readable enough for cars to know that he is NO troop supporter. Neither is he a Marine as Legionnaire Glenn (USMC...

Something different happened in Olney today. The weather was in the upper 40s with a slight wind, not weather one would expect the car windows to be open. But the support we received today from passing cars made it seem like a warm, sunny spring day, especially in our spirit. iMacMan captured some unusual photos of our supporters. It is always heart warming and inspiring to receive the numerous waves and honks, but upon reviewing iMacMan's pictures this week, well it was ... well, I just got a warm fuzzy feeling of pride just looking at the pics. If [Mrs]...

Friday was spent getting ready for the D.C. Chapter's Christmas Party (AAR soon), Friday at Walter Reed, Saturday morning at Olney, Saturday afternoon at the Olney Compound for the Christmas Party, Sunday was spent cleaning up and helping Plea Deal with the WR AAR, and late Monday afternoon at the airport watching our son come home from Iraq. The Walter Reed FReep was great - the buses came early on this chilly Friday night. Then the Olney FReep. We mustered 10 FReepers and Lurkers this week. ONE HUNDRED WEEKS in Olney!! Can't say 100 WEEKS straight because we missed one week this past September for GoE III. But I think we can be forgiven, everyone wanted to support our troops and give the moonbats hell. Besides, in August, 2006 we did two FReeps in Olney. See FReep 1: Week 34 and FReep 2: Week 34. Honor Roll Call (16) for this week were: Legionnaires Glenn (USMC - Iwo Jima), Clyde (Navy - WWII), Halsey (USMC - Korea), Frank (Army - Korea), Carland Lurkers Bill and newbie Garyand FReepers Apple Blossom, BMWcyle, BufordP, Cindy_True_Supporter, Fraxinus, iMacMan, VictoryNY,...

This weekend was the first of many to come, cold, blistery, windy FReeps in the D.C. area. After a successful, but very cold FReep at Walter Reed, we braved the cold weather in Olney. And cold it was.Temps we in the low 40s and the wind was blowing around 15 MPH. I know 40s is whimpy by some FReeper's standards, but this is only the beginning of the winter. So we did what we know best, drink a last cup of hot coffee, layer our clothes, resolve ones self and FReep On!!!FReepers and Lurkers in attendance was small but better...

I'm not sure why, but a moonbat holding one end of their banner decided to just fall back. She appeared okay but needed help getting up. Maybe she felt light headed because for the first time in months, they had us out numbered; or maybe the flags on the banner, and the freedom they represent, was holding we too heavy to hold. Our freedom isn't too heavy for our brave militarys' shoulders. BELOW: Fallen moon and her helpful troll. The Quackers now have a play about themselves. It must have been a full moon this weekend, or being cold the leftist had to keep their windows closed and the brown smoke was getting in their eyes, or the leftists just didn't like the idea that the SURGE IS WORKING!!! This year's Veterans' Day Weekend was highlighted by the 25th Anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, commonly known as "The Wall". The BELOW pictures are from readings on Thursday afternoon. Thursday night was also very moving. The air was clear and crispy cold. One could just see their breath as the temps fell from a warm afternoon. And all was quiet as the planes had stopped landing and taking off from Reagan National Airport. The speakers on the grass at the top of the Wall and on the stage clearly announced the names of our fallen, which could be heard...

MINNEAPOLIS - Shrouded in black, with a bandanna masking her face, a self-proclaimed anarchist slips into her combat boots and dashes through town, tossing a Molotov cocktail here, launching a bowling ball there. The YouTube video is more parody than threat: The flaming cocktail ignites a charcoal grill, and the bowling ball knocks down pins instead of crashing through a Navy recruiting office window. But as the video fades to black, the message on-screen is clear: "We're getting ready. What are you doing?" With less than 10 months to go before the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St.Paul, activists are already...

After months of reading about VictoryNY's exuberant support of our troops at Walter Reed and Olney, we finally have a video, compliments of PleaDeal. Now one must remember that she waves a flag and is very animated as she also loudly exclaims her support of our troops for almost 3 hours at Walter Reed on Friday nights and for about 1 1/2 hours the next morning at Olney. Where she gets her energy, I don't know. But her energy is easily transferred to the other FReepers and Lurkers. The reference to supporting our "Tankers" in the video is for TankerBabeLC....

This Marine (BELOW) stopped by to Thank us for being out here this Saturday. He will be deployed soon to Fallujah. He also asked about some moonbats that protest nearby Quantico, at the shopping center on Rte. 1 just down from the Marine Corps Museum. If anyone has any info on the idiot moonbats, let us know. Sounds like a FReep and Gathering of Eagles pending. Surge Week ONE: Moonbats 12 - FReepers/Lurkers 9. Surge Week TWO: Moonbats 8 - FReepers/Lurkers 10. Surge Week THREE: Moonbats 6 - FReepers/Lurkers 18. The moonbats' surge started after a very negative article on DU about the Olney FReep, but nothing new there. It made the Olney FReepers sound like a bunch of Nazi goons. The moonbats had several newbies come out but they quickly cut 'n run in the following weeks. And Surge Week Three ended with only the same old senior "Quakers" in attendance. Maybe it was the U.S. Flags that the "allegiance to no Country" hypocritical "Quackers"...

As the week rolled into Friday morning, a GREAT CONUNDRUM was in place. While the earth warmed, glaciers melted, stars aligned and liberals whined, the Olney FReep looked like it might be a bust with just the three of us. (Not really a bust, just put that in there for the trolls benefit. Besides, it rhymes). FReepers lives were misaligned with Saturday's FReep. Bad backs, mid terms, family things, holiday jaunts, craft shows with mom, tootsie roll sales for the church, you name it, it was misaligned for the FReep. After the last few weeks of record attendance by FReepers,...

VictoryNY was at the "Little Bull Horn" today, or should I call it, "Miss Little Bull Horn"? My only complaint is that she wouldn't let me call the "Quackers" parasites or leeches. What a difference a week makes. Last week Lurker E.D. had to have his words calmed down. But that is what makes every week at Olney so great. One doesn't know what will be happening, whether we'll have just the "Fantastic Four", or we'll have a dozen or more and occupy all four corners, or just two, or maybe three. BELOW TOP LEFT: VictoryNY with "Little Bull Horn"....

After vacating our corner to attend Gathering of Eagles III in D.C. last Saturday, we were back in force once again. And Little Bull Horn was there also. Just in case your are wondering, the moonbats only garnered 6 moonbats last week. Hardly enough to occupy our vacant corner. Besides, by the time they shuffled over to our corner, it would be time to leave. Saturday was Yom Kippur. I point this out because we got a lot of Thanks from the Jews walking to and from the Synagogue just down the road. We normally see one or two families...
