Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that we have to recognize the possibility of civil war in the United States. Without the Holy Spirit, there can’t be a synod, says PopeIn opening marks, the Holy Father recalled that the 2-year event is not an opinion survey, but will have the Spirit as protagonist. To open the Synod on Synodality on October 9, Pope Francis identified three risks that could impede the process, instead inviting the Church, “Let us live this Synod with the spirit of prayer for his disciples that Jesus raised to the Father with such fervor: ‘That they may be one …'”Departing from his prepared text, the Pope immediately insisted that the Synod “is not a Parliament, it’s not...

Jonathan Barker, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, stopped eating on Saturday and said he will continue the protest until Congress passes a climate bill. Democrats pushed a $3.5 trillion, 10-year bill through the House Budget Committee that strengthens social safety net and climate programs. The measure is a “once-in-species-moment,” Barker said. “As a Christian, I am called to be on the side of love for neighbor,” Barker said. “Love for neighbor means making sure my neighbor has a livable future, a family-sustaining green job, clean air...

October 31st 2019, I wrote a short essay entitled, "What If …. Biden Goes Away?"M/a> It described a vision I was given in which I saw Joe Biden. He had been arrested. It showed that he was going to be executed! I kept my ear cocked to the political news, which as a "news junkie", is business as usual for me! Confirmation came the 2nd week of April 2021, from an unquestionable source! ( There were rumors a couple of months earlier but nothing to write home about.) July 3,2021 --- This knowledge was made public indirectly, by our President,...

Francis, the Self-Contradictory Pope. Theory and Practice of a Non-Infallible PontificateAnyone who can understand this deserves a medal. Take a look:“There are four elements: in learning reality there are the concept and the intuition, and in explicating reality there are the two terms of an antinomy. These four elements come into tension with each other. We cannot say that the sign of its effectiveness is the balance between reality and grasping it. We must look for a sign that, in itself, contains the tension of the four elements. In my opinion, this sign is consonance.“The consonance that the subject who...

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention may soon recommend all Americans wear two masks to enhance their protection against coronavirus, Dr. Anthony Fauci said Tuesday. “It makes common sense,” the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said in a livestreamed interview with the Washington Post. House Republicans blocked quick consideration of a bill calling on Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office amid fallout from last week’s Capitol riot. Democrats asked for consideration of a bill calling on Pence to mobilize the 25th Amendment, but Rep. Alex Mooney, R-W.V., objected Monday.
