Bryan Malinowski, who was involved in a shootout with federal agents Tuesday, was also involved in a legal fight with a neighbor over the placement of a mailbox, claiming it was placed illegally on his property. A judge would go on to side with Malinowski’s neighbor, years before the 53-year-old director of Little Rock's Clinton National Airport was involved in the Tuesday shooting with agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. In August 2018, Malinowski sued Eric and Victoria Pinter, who lived next to a property he owned. He said the year before they “without consultation or...

The far-left welfare queens at NPR are now claiming “conservatives” are spreading a “myth” about illegal aliens voting, even though Democrats are openly pushing to allow illegal aliens to vote. “Conservatives are warning about noncitizens voting. It’s a myth with a long history,” reads the NPR headline. Oddly enough, NPR fails to notify its readers of this NPR story published less than 15 months ago: “New York City will allow 800,000 noncitizens to vote in local elections.” That law was blocked (thankfully) in June. Nevertheless, “11 towns in Maryland and two in Vermont … allow illegals “the right to vote...

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is strongly pushing back against claims she violated federal law and ethical standards by having a personal relationship with a lead prosecutor on the 2020 election interference case against former President Donald Trump and others. In a court filing Friday, Willis said the relationship with Nathan Wade, who was hired to work the case in 2021, did not begin until 2022 and allegations that the pair financially benefit from prosecuting the case are "meritless." The filing asks a judge to deny a Trump codefendant's motion last month to dismiss charges. "To be absolutely clear,...

Historians have found themselves caught in the middle of America's debate over gun control ever since the Supreme Court ruled in 2022 that firearms laws must be consistent with American "tradition." That decision in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen set off a new wave of challenges to state and federal restrictions on guns. "What's happening now is a fight over what the Second Amendment ultimately means," says Chuck Michel, president and general counsel at the California Rifle & Pistol Association, which is suing the state over newly passed limits on concealed firearms. "This truly is a...

The new CEO for National Public Radio (NPR) has become instant news over social media postings that she deleted before the recent announcement of her selection. Katherine Maher is the former CEO of Wikipedia and sought to remove controversial postings on subjects ranging from looters to Trump. Shannon Thaler at the New York Post reassembled Maher’s deleted postings including a 2018 declaration that “Donald Trump is a racist” and a variety of race-based commentary. That included a statement that appeared to excuse looting: She is also quoted for saying that “white silence is complicity.” She has described her own “hysteric...

In late December, after US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen borrowed $90 billion in just one day, the federal government’s public debt eclipsed $34 trillion for the first time in history. The steady accumulation of public debt has become a mainstay in modern America, seemingly as inevitable as death and taxes. But something strange happened when the US passed yet another trillion-dollar debt milestone. There appeared to be concern. “The federal debt starts the new year at a level that is hard to grasp: $34 trillion,” the New York Times declared in a piece titled “The Debt Matters Again,” and even “…federal...

The district said it wanted to solve the problem that non-white students were suspended too often, according to Oregon Public Broadcasting. “Black, Native American, and other students of color are referred out of class significantly more often,” the district’s Collective Bargaining Team said in a letter to families last month. “Students receiving special education services also bear the burden of disproportionate discipline. This ‘discipline’ is far from the root of the term ‘discipline’: to instruct, train, and educate,” the letter said. The new collective bargaining agreement requires that when a student exhibits “continuous disruptive behavior,” a “support plan” must be...

The Biden administration is facing heavy criticism from Native Alaskans over its crackdown on oil and gas drilling in Alaska, activity which generates tax revenue vital for key state and local programs. Native Alaskan leaders have particularly taken issue with the Department of the Interior's (DOI) recent actions blocking future oil and gas development in the National Petroleum Reserve (NPR), an area in North Slope Borough, Alaska, specifically set aside by Congress for resource development, in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), and in federal offshore waters off the state's coast. "My community unapologetically supports the leasing program," Charles Lampe,...

The bottom line is this: the modern home of antisemitism is the Democrat Party. That’s not to say that being a Democrat makes you an antisemite. Hardly. 7 in 10 Jews are Democrats, and many non-Jewish Democrats are anything but antisemites. But let’s face facts: the home of antisemites in America is the Democrat Party. While 80% of Republicans and nearly 70% of Independents support Israel, only 45% of Democrats do.Americans' sympathies overall lie with Israel in this conflict, but Democrats are splitBy a 61%-30% margin, respondents said their sympathies lie more with Israelis than Palestinians, but that's driven by Republicans (79%)...

Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN) claims former House Speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) shoved him while his back was turned. NPR congressional correspondent Claudia Grisales first reported the encounter on X (formerly Twitter), saying it happened when she spoke with Burchett after the GOP’s conference meeting on Tuesday. Burchett was one of the House Republicans who supported the push to oust McCarthy as Speaker, and according to him and Grisales, McCarthy struck at him which led to an intense encounter. Burchett's back was to McCarthy and his detail walking by in the hallway, then the lunge. Burchett responded jokingly as McCarthy...

Pakistan gives last warning to undocumented immigrants to leave, in Chaman PESHAWAR, Pakistan, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Thousands of people swamped Pakistan's main northwestern border crossing seeking to cross into Afghanistan on Thursday, a day after the government's deadline expired for undocumented foreigners to leave or face expulsion. Pakistani authorities began rounding up undocumented foreigners, most of them Afghans, hours before Wednesday's deadline. More than a million Afghans could have to leave or face arrest and forcible expulsion as a result of the ultimatum delivered by the Pakistan government a month ago.

In October 2023, an official responsible for programming at North Carolina public radio station WCPE rejected broadcasting several operas being produced this season at the New York Metropolitan Opera. An article, now scrubbed from the net, entitled “North Carolina Public Radio Station Rejects Contemporary Operas” explains that the programmer cited her Christian faith and viewpoint that the operas are vulgar and inappropriate for children as reasons for declining to broadcast them. The viewpoint intolerance and anti-Christian cultural fascism of NPR and institutions such as the N.Y. Met are fanatical. It was intolerable that a single dissident public radio station would...

On Tuesday’s “Morning Edition,” co-host Michel Martin stated that activists who blamed Israel for the Hamas attacks on it, “highlighted Israel’s ongoing treatment of Palestinians in the generations-old conflict over land” while National Desk Correspondent Brian Mann characterized the “From the river to the sea” chant as one that, “by some interpretations, calls for the establishment of a Palestinian state with borders that could effectively erase Israel from the map.” Martin said that “some Americans also marched in support of Palestinians or issued statements blaming Israel. These activists highlighted Israel’s ongoing treatment of Palestinians in the generations-old conflict over land.”

In a candid new interview with NPR, former Saturday Night Live cast member Leslie Jones says the show’s limitations made her “a caricature” of herself, although she came to realize that the process was par for the course at the longrunning NBC show. “They take that one thing [about you] and they wring it,” she says. “They wring it because that’s the machine. So whatever it is that I’m giving that they’re so happy about, they feel like it’s got to be that all the time or something like that. So it was like a caricature of myself. … Either...

NPR tried to reassure Americans that Biden using the short stairs to board Air Force One is a normal precaution to avoid ‘bad optics.’President Joe Biden is in severe decline, evidenced by his numerous public falls and repeated inability to coherently communicate. The Democrat’s public displays of clumsiness have left the White House scrambling to cover up his physical and mental incompetencies. Corporate media like NPR, which is known for giving its preferred political candidate a boost in the 2020 election cycle, are all too happy to join in the fun just in time for the 2024 election cycle. An article from...

Caviezel, who previously played Jesus Christ in Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, is also drawing attention to the film in other ways. For years, he's been a prominent promoter of the false, violent QAnon conspiracy theory — specifically, the baseless claim that an international cabal of elites is abusing and killing children to extract a substance called adrenochrome. These wild claims have become deeply enmeshed with narratives about child trafficking in recent years, from the QAnon predecessor Pizzagate conspiracy theory, which falsely alleged a pizza parlor in Washington, D.C., was home to a child sex ring, to false...

The former head of President Joe Biden’s defunct Orwellian Disinformation Governance Board found a new gig by registering as a foreign agent to fight so-called “disinformation." Former DGB Executive Director Nina Jankowicz said in a Nov. 18 “foreign agents” filing with the Department of Justice that she would be hired as a “disinformation expert” with the U.K.-based Centre for Information Resilience. Jankowicz’ role involves acting as an “ambassador for CIR on the Hill, within the Federal Government, media, among tech companies / Silicon Valley, on ‘K Street’, and among potential philanthropic organisations.” It appears the self-proclaimed “Mary Poppins of disinformation”...

Issues of equality and acceptance of transgender and nonbinary people — along with challenges to their rights — have become a major topic in the headlines. These issues can involve words and ideas and identities that are new to some. That's why we've put together a glossary of terms relating to gender identity. Our goal is to help people communicate accurately and respectfully with one another.

I think that everytime NPR makes a ridiculous claim, I'm going to rant about it. Today they did a spot about the huge amount of snow pack and the good news for the Colorado river. But they ended the story saying that it would take a decade of winters like this last one to replenish what drought has taken. They never site sources. Yesterday NPR said that "the number one cause of death for children was firearms". And again no sources for their claims.
