“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” director Rian Johnson erased approximately 20,000 of his tweets days after Disney fired “Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn over offensive online remarks. Johnson explained on Twitter that he wasn’t deleting his tweets under any official directive, but was preemptively destroying ammunition in the event right-wing trolls try digging them up to ruin his career. “No official directive at all, and I don’t think I’ve ever tweeted anything that bad,” Johnson tweeted. “But it’s nine years of stuff written largely off the cuff as ephemera, if trolls scrutinizing it for ammunition is the new...

Fox News host Sean Hannity appeared on Wednesday to advise witnesses in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation to destroy their personal phones before handing them over to prosecutors. "If I advised them to follow Hillary Clinton’s lead, delete all your emails and then acid-wash your emails and hard drives on the phones, then take your phones and bash them with a hammer to little itsy bitsy pieces, use BleachBit, remove the sim cards and then take the pieces and hand them over to Robert Mueller," Hannity said on air. The conservative television host's comments came after CNBC reported that Mueller's...

Just 24-hours after Roseanne was fired by ABC for making a derogatory statement about former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett (which she then apologized for), leftist comedian Samantha Bee included a segment on her TBS show in which she called current White House senior advisor Ivanka Trump a "feckless c*nt." Why? Because she dared to post a photo holding her son."You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say, one mother to another, do something about your dad’s immigration practices, you feckless c**t!†Bee said. A Pennsylvania branch of Planned Parenthood says a tweet declaring the need for a Disney princess who's had an abortion was not appropriate and the organization has taken it down. An executive for Planned Parenthood Keystone says the group believes pop culture plays a "critical role" in educating the public and sparking "meaningful conversations about sexual and reproductive health issues and policies, including abortion." We need a Disney princess who's actually...

Just started seeing it today go on full bore. The LACK OF CURIOSITY was there from almost the moment it was discovered that Broward LEOs were called 30+ times to killer Nikolas Cruz's home. The FBI hasn't done much to stop killer Nikolas Cruz either. Now, Broward sheriff Scott Israel, good friend of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, has issued a statement saying HE will handle any problem in his department. Local Miami media is apparently satisfied with that. Now, back to attacking the Constitution, the NRA, Rick Scott and Donald Trump.

Claims by police apologists that a "war on cops" ensued from a reform movement that emerged after the shooting of Michael Brown in 2014 in Ferguson, Missouri, has no statistical support. Preliminary data from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) finds that 128 police officers died in the line of duty in 2017—44 of them were fatally shot. Last year 64 officers were fatally shot. And since 2011, the numbers have largely gone down. In the meantime, police have fatally shot 971 people so far this year—the youngest of them just 6 years old. Last year, 963 people...

Stage and screen star Sir Ian McKellen has spoken out about the sex scandal in film and theatre, claiming women are partly responsible because some tell directors they'll sleep with them to win roles. 'People must be called out and it's sometimes very difficult for victims to do that,' the Lord Of The Rings star said in a talk at the Oxford Union recently. 'I hope we're going through a period that will help to eradicate it altogether. But from my own experience, when I was starting acting in the early Sixties, the director of the theatre I was working at...

Al Franken announced his resignation on the floor of the Senate today, a development that makes abundantly clear that the Democratic and Republican parties have never been more different in modern American history than they are right at this moment. Franken’s speech started off on a surprisingly defiant note, going much farther than he had up until this point in asserting that the charges made against him are not true. But that only reinforces the point I’m making about the two parties, as I’ll explain in a moment: “Over the last few weeks, a number of women have come forward...

The admission revealed the identity behind a big data breach. Nghia Hoang Pho, 67. Nghia, Carted home, “Top Secret” and “Sensitive Compartmented”, Information for over five years. In the last three months, there have been at least three robberies on BART involving groups of teenagers. “I think people are genuinely concerned — they are fearful about the stories that have come out about the recent attacks, the assaults, the thefts,” said Debora Allen, who is a member of the BART Board of Directors. April 22: Forty to sixty kids boarded a train at the Coliseum stop and robbed seven passengers, beating up two; June 28: A group of four kids assaulted a passenger and made off with a cell phone at Dublin; and June 30: A woman...
