No matter where you are in Hudson County — from Jersey City's Liberty State Park, the piers of Hoboken or the Waterfront Walkway in Weehawken — the views across the river now seem dominated by One World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan. But that massive building, standing at 1,776-feet tall, recently made Slate's ignominious list of The 11 Worst Buildings of 2014. One World Trade Center, writes Slate's Kriston Capps, "may stand as the worst project of a generation."
