Dear Admiral McRaven: Your OPED yesterday, which was picked up by every liberal media outlet in the country, was sadly indicative of the current state of mind of many of our nation’s recently retired and active duty senior military leaders. You stated that former CIA director John Brennan, “is one of the finest public servants I have ever known. Few Americans have done more to protect this country than John. He is a man of unparalleled integrity, whose honesty and character have never been in question, except by those who don’t know him.” The man whom you describe as being...

President Donald Trump gave an atta-boy to Republican Rep. Francis Rooney last year on the congressman’s home turf in swing state Florida. “I love it when he defends me,” the president said then. He might feel differently now. The second-term Republican said publicly Friday what others in his party are not, namely that acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney acknowledged a quid pro quo was at work when Trump held up U.S. aid to Ukraine in exchange for Kyiv’s investigation of Democrats and the 2016 elections. Mulvaney later claimed his comments had been misconstrued, but Rooney said he...

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) is fundraising off her feud with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, asking supporters to donate to her presidential campaign and calling on Clinton to "face her directly" in the 2020 Democratic primary. "Hillary Clinton accused Tulsi Gabbard — a combat veteran, soldier and Major in the Army National Guard — of being 'groomed' to be a 'Russian asset,'" reads a fundraising email sent by Gabbard's campaign on Saturday. "Tulsi fights back and demands Hillary join the race and face her directly." Gabbard in the email said that Clinton "finally came out from behind the curtain...

Anheuser-Busch InBev has accused rival brewer Miller Coors of obtaining the secret recipes for Bud Light and Michelob Ultra, the latest shot in a long-running legal dispute. The world's largest brewer claimed Thursday in U.S. court documents that Miller Coors, a subsidiary of Molson Coors, has obtained the "precise recipes" for some of its most popular beers, which it considers trade secrets. The battle between the brewers started when Anheuser-Busch InBev suggested in advertisements during this year's Super Bowl that corn syrup was being used to make Miller Lite and Coors Lite. Miller Coors responded in March with a lawsuit...

FULL TITLE: Ex-NFL star Jack Brewer: Why Trump policies are secretly loved by most liberals (even if they won’t admit it) Imagine a country where the president was promoted by the media as a far-right extremist, yet his signature policies align with the core issues preached by far-left liberals. If we could remove the double standard, President Donald Trump would likely be more popular with liberals than favorites like Bill Clinton or John F. Kennedy. In under 3 years, Trump has accomplished many of the things that Democrats, for years, have promised they would do. Since Election Day 2016, the...

Democratic presidential hopeful Rep. Tulsi Gabbard has apparently gotten an endorsement she said she can do without — from former KKK leader David Duke. The 68-year-old white supremacist and former GOP Louisiana state senator plastered a banner on his Twitter page prominently featuring a photograph of the Hawaiian lawmaker, the New York Post reported. “Tulsi Gabbard for President,” it blares, along with the tagline: “Finally a candidate who will actually put America First rather than Israel First!”

...According to “message guidance” in the memo: 1. When discussing Trump’s actions, keep the language simple, direct and values-based: President Trump abused his power and put himself above the law when he asked the Ukrainian president to interfere in the U.S. election. 2. Emphasize the core value that no one is above the law. Incumbent members who support the inquiry are simply working to uphold the rule of law and Republicans who oppose the inquiry are failing to fulfill their oath of office.” 3. The whistleblower did the right thing by coming forward – members of Congress have the duty...

As lawmakers huddled inside the House of Commons on Saturday to debate Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal, hundreds of thousands of protesters gathered outside the Palace of Westminster to demand that voters be given the final say on Brexit. Organizers said they hoped to draw more than a million protesters*, which would make it one of the largest demonstrations in British history. (*they didn't) The stated desire of the marchers was to call for a second referendum on any Brexit deal that lawmakers approve, but most had a more basic goal. “No Brexit” was the chant that echoed through...

BORIS Johnson will write to the EU to ask for another Brexit delay TONIGHT after Tory rebel Sir Oliver Letwin trashed his chance to make history today. In a day of high-drama in the House of Commons, MPs voted for the Tory rebel’s wrecking amendment by 322 to 306, and torpedoed Boris' plans to pass a deal. Super Saturday turned into Pointless Saturday after the Tory rebel sabotaged Boris' Brexit bid with Parliamentary antics. Instead the PM must now ask the EU for a THIRD time to delay Britain's departure from the EU. Boris had hoped that MPs would have...

CNN sounded the "breaking news" alarm Friday after Republican John Kasich -- a CNN contributor and frequent critic of President Trump -- bucked the GOP and expressed his support for impeachment. "And I say it with great sadness," Kasich, a former governor of Ohio, explained after confirming his stand against the president. CNN immediately treated Kasich's remarks as a bombshell, posting a graphic on screen that read, "Just in: GOP's Kasich: Trump deserves to be impeached." In addition, a report on CNN's website, calling Kasich's remarks "breaking news," was placed prominently on the network's homepage.

LONDON—British lawmakers voted Saturday to postpone a decisive Brexit vote, likely forcing Prime Minister Boris Johnson to request a further delay of the U.K.’s departure from the European Union. Parliament said it needed more time to review a deal Mr. Johnson concluded this week with European leaders that sets out citizens’ rights, a financial settlement with the EU and a special arrangement for Northern Ireland that would require customs checks on goods arriving there from elsewhere in the U.K. The move was backed by opposition lawmakers, along with some who have recently left or been expelled from the ruling Conservative...

The dream of British independence is alive again. A new era of national freedom beckons, thanks to Boris Johnson’s remarkable triumph in Brussels. In achieving this historic breakthrough on a deal, the Prime Minister has played his part superbly in attempting to honour the 2016 referendum result. After three years of shameful procrastination, it is now up to MPs to follow his magnificent lead and finally deliver Brexit. If they back him, Britain will set out confidently on the road to becoming a self-governing nation once more. But if they indulge in more of their squalid, irresponsible manoeuvres against this...

House Democrats may extend the impeachment inquiry beyond U.S. President Donald Trump’s Ukraine-related activities, the general counsel behind the investigation recently indicated. Democrats can impeach Trump even if his Ukraine-related actions are not criminal, Douglas Letter, the lawyer, argued before a federal judge last week.
