Just heard part of a statement on Fox by Neil Cavuto, He just destroyed France, Germany, and Russia. I wish I had a full transcript of this. If anyone recorded a transcript please post it.

When a journalism professor complained to Fox News that anchorman Neil Cavuto "had abandoned objectivity for overt nationalism on the air," Mr. Cavuto responded in short order. "Obnoxious, pontificating jerk, self-absorbed, condescending imbecile, Ivy League intellectual Lilliputian," he called the unidentified academic, according to the Baltimore Sun yesterday. "There is nothing wrong with taking sides here, professor," Mr. Cavuto said. "You see no difference between a government that oppresses people, and one that does not, but I do." He continued, "So am I slanted and biased? You ... bet I am, professor. I'm more in favor of a system that...

When you're wrong, you're wrong and I should admit this day, when it comes to the French, I was wrong.

You heard me right: I've blasted them too much and now I realize I went too far.

I called them ingrates for ripping us on Iraq when we helped them through so many wars. They have told me it's precisely because they're grateful that they're trying to have us avoid other wars.

I often wonder what the families of those who've died in battle make of the criticisms of this battle. Criticisms that after little more than a week, it's a lot more than a disappointment. That while coalition forces control 90 percent of the airspace in that country, we are having a tough time in that country. And that though we are winning the ground war, we are losing the public relations war. I wonder what those who are now planning funerals think of those who are now questioning policy. Does it make their sons any less heroes? No. Does it...

Friday, March 28, 2003 By Neil Cavuto I knew this was bound to happen: An irate journalism professor calling me a disgrace to my profession. Since my response is not polite, I won't use this guy's name. But I will tell you he teaches at an Ivy League school. Now, let me quote: "Mr. Cavuto, please remember you are a journalist. You're supposed to be impartial. Your obvious support of U.S. and coalition troops and your rah-rah patriotism is an insult to hard-working reporters everywhere. You have no right having a show and even less right calling yourself a journalist."...

OMGOODNESS! Neil Cavuto, Sr. Business Editor and Anchor on FNC, apparently received an email from an "Ivy League Professor" chiding him for his "bias," telling him that a "real journalist" isn't supposed to be so obviously on the side of the United States in this conflict, telling him that he "betrays journalistic ethics" by so doing. Cavuto stated that he wouldn't read the professor's name or affiliation, because what he was about to say in reply was so scathing and personal that he wanted to feel free to say it. Then he LAUNCHED man! Wish I had a transcript! In...

Ashamed of the Red, White & Blue Award First Place Phil Donahue: “Let me tell you what is impressive. You’re not wearing a flag. Well, I don’t want to damn you with my praise, but I say hip-hip-hooray for that, and I think you gave the right answer when you spoke at Northwestern University....” Tom Brokaw: “Right. I said, you know, I wear a flag in my heart, but I think if you wear a flag, it’s a suggestion somehow that you’re endorsing what the administration is doing at the time. And I don’t think journalists ought to be wearing...

Neil Cavuto Takes Lead in TV Business Wed Aug 28, 2:43 PM ET By DAVID BAUDER, AP Television Writer NEW YORK (AP) - Neil Cavuto has a sunny personality, the kind that manages to find a bright side to a crippling disease. Yet if the business news anchor perceives any kind of slight, then watch out. As with many of his colleagues at Fox News Channel, that's when a feisty side emerges. The people at Microsoft found out about that in June when none of their executives were available to talk about a deal with Verizon on Cavuto's show. Backed...
