NORMAN, Okla. – A spate of mysterious booms has been shaking a city in central Oklahoma. Oklahoma Geological Survey research seismologist Austin Holland says a series of thunderous booms rattled the Norman area at 11:19 a.m. Friday and that numerous more were reported in the same place around the same time Thursday.

NASA's Cassini spacecraft has discovered a "mysterious feature" on Saturn's moon Titan. Scientists are working to determine, what, exactly, this feature might be. NASA reports that the feature is roughly 100 square miles, and it lies in Ligeia Mare, one of Titan's hydrocarbon seas. Cassini's radar has observed the feature twice, but its appearance changed between the two sightings. Scientists suspect the feature's change in appearance could be the result of Titan's changing seasons, which Cassini's current extended mission will monitor. Police have identified the owner of a high-performance sports car found abandoned burning near the George Washington Bridge. Deankarte E. Ditchfield-Agboh, 33, of Palisades Park, NJ, is the owner of the 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago, Port Authority Police spokesman Joe Pentangelo said. Ypsilanti’s children’s slides are free and clear of feces after the Ypsilanti Police recently identified a suspect in their hunt for the notorious "mystery pooper." Ypsilanti Police Chief Tony DiGiusti confirmed the department made contact with an individual believed to be the “mystery pooper” who regularly defecated on the same slide in Prospect Park between November and April. A Manhattan trader was killed Tuesday morning by a speeding Long Island Rail Road commuter train, marking at least the seventh suicide of a financial professional this year. Edmund (Eddie) Reilly, 47, a trader at Midtown’s Vertical Group, jumped in front of an LIRR train at 6 a.m. near the Syosset train station. He was declared dead at the scene.
