Counter-terrorism police in Australia have stopped a suspected plot to bring down an aeroplane, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has said. He was speaking after four people were arrested in raids across Sydney. Investigators said they had information that the plot to blow up an aircraft involved the use of an "improvised device". Mr Turnbull said the raids had been a "major joint counter-terrorism operation". He said extra security was in place at domestic and international airports. The raids took place in the Sydney suburbs of Surry Hills, Lakemba, Wiley Park and Punchbowl, Australian broadcaster ABC reported. Australia's national terror threat...

On July 26 the infamous Italian abortionist Emma Bonino, 69, spoke in the parish-church of San Defendente, Cassato, Italy, in order to promote a pro-immigration campaign. For decades Bonino has been a diabolical presence in Italian politics. As an abortionist she murdered more than 10'000 children, her own included. She led the campaign that succeeded in introducing abortion in Italy in 1978. Now Bonino promotes stealing the young population from poor countries in order to fill the population gap in Italy. The pro-life organisation “Ora et labora in difesa della vita” organised prayer rallies against Bonino in front of the...

Guess what everyone! It turns out that not all acts of police brutality and misconduct are equal. To be sure, some are more equal than others. This as we have seen about a week after A Muslim police officers shot and killed an unarmed defenseless white woman. Her crime: Calling 911 twice and slapping the back of the patrol cruiser. While there have been protests and outcries thankfully, the overwhelming majority of the leftists have now begum to adopt the mentality of cop worshiping goons like the ones who murdered Kelly Thomas, an unarmed 150 lb white man with schizophrenia...

Ex-employees claim company wouldn’t let them delay meal break during Ramadan Sixteen Muslims “involuntary resigned” from their jobs at an automotive supplier in Warren because the company refused to accommodate their planned religious observance, their attorneys said Wednesday. The ex-employees of Brose Jefferson, who worked the afternoon shift, had requested they be allowed to take their unpaid, 30-minute meal break at 9 p.m. instead of the usual 7 p.m., during Ramadan. During Ramadan, which was celebrated worldwide from May 27 to June 25, Muslims observe strict fasting from sunrise to sunset. On Friday, May 26, the Muslim employees on the...

Imam Ammar Shahin is taking heat for a sermon at the Islamic Center of Davis (ICD) last Friday in which he called on Allah to annihilate Jews and “let us a play a part in this,” and liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Israel from “the filth of the Jews.” The Al-Aqsa Mosque is in East Jerusalem, on a holy site for both Jews and Muslims, and has been riddled with conflict and bloodshed as the war rages on between the two sides. Jewish groups are up in arms and calling on Homeland Security. A Muslim within the community chalked it...

The future for free expression in the West is looking bleak. Leftist students routinely intimidate and even physically menace those who dissent from their views, especially pro-Israel students. Conservative speakers are rarely invited to campuses, and when they are, face legions of hostile and even violent protesters. Universities are increasingly hostile to conservative views, and are mostly indoctrination centers for the hard Left. This is academia today, as I detail in my new book The Complete Infidel’s Guide to Free Speech (and Its Enemies). On September 29, 2016, retired U.S. Army Lt. Colonel and former Congressman Allen West was scheduled...

Dear Federal Government, I turn on the TV and I see “refugees”. I open up the newspaper and I read “refugees”. I go online and I see an ad banner in which the German economy is advertising for what? Right, for “refugees”. I walk through my home town and I see “refugees”. I drive my car and what do I see on the side of the road, walking in crowds? “Refugees”. I have had enough. What, really, have you done to us? Who among us was asked if they wanted this all and called it good? Who or what are...

Shortened title. Full title: FBI Probe Into Female Genital Mutilation Expands Beyond Michigan to New York, California and Illinois The FBI's investigation into genital mutilation of girls, some as young as six-years-old, has expanded beyond the original case in Michigan where two doctors were arrested and indicted in April. Girls from Minnesota were taken to Michigan for "treatment" by their parents. A refresher on some of the details: The Department of Justice indicted and arrested Detroit emergency room doctor Jumana Nagarwala on multiple charges Thursday, alleging she performed a number of illegal female genital mutilations (FGM) from 2005 and...

Trudeau is sending out the message that imams preaching death to Jews and gays and treating women as second class citizens is okay in his Canada. And it seems it is The Canadian Press has obtained a copy of a draft citizenship guide the Liberals are working on. These guides are used by people studying to pass their citizenship test. The last time the guide was updated was in 2011 under the Harper government. While some of the changes to the guide were expected based upon Trudeau’s criticism of the Tories’ guide, others were totally unexpected. When former Immigration Minister...

It wasn't that long ago that Debbie Wasserman Schultz was trying to browbeat the Capitol Police over a laptop in the Muslim IT hacking case. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz threatened the chief of the U.S. Capitol Police with “consequences” for holding equipment that she says belongs to her in order to build a criminal case against a Pakistani staffer suspected of massive cybersecurity breaches involving funneling sensitive congressional data offsite. The Florida lawmaker used her position on the committee that sets the police force’s budget to press its chief to relinquish the piece of evidence Thursday, in what could be considered...

Sex trafficking involving migrants fleeing to Italy by sea increased by nearly 600 percent over the past three years -- particularly among young girls -- a United Nations' agency said Friday. The International Organization for Migration issued a report saying most sex trafficking victims came from Nigeria and increasingly more are younger girls "already subject to violence and abuse on their way to Europe." The report estimates 80 percent of girls arriving from Nigeria are potential victims of sexual exploitation. About 1,400 girls traveled from Nigeria to Italy in 2014, a number that increased to more than 11,000 last year....

We’ve often heard the familiar refrain after an Islamic terror attack – terrorism is a “perversion” of Islam, and Muslims who commit acts of terror are not truly following the faith. However, the man who infiltrated the Council on American-Islamic Relations for six months begs to differ. Gaubatz has witnessed the inner workings of one of America’s largest Muslim organizations firsthand, having posed as a convert to Islam to gain a CAIR internship. He remained undercover for six months, gaining the trust of CAIR’s inner sanctum and collecting more than 12,000 pages of documents and hundreds of hours of video....

Catholic apologist, Howard Kainz, wrote the following in his insightful article, "Is Islam a Religion?": The egalitarianism of the French Revolution, which led to the Terror; Karl Marx’s movement in 1843-1844 to communism as "true democracy"; Pol Pot’s massive exterminations of people and property in Cambodia during the 1970s to establish "Democratic Kampuchea"; and similar massive "levelings" in the name of democracy, by throwing out the "baby" (individual freedom) with the "bathwater" (social inequalities) do not deserve the title of democracies. And any "democracy" that is dedicated to the destruction of all other democracies, would qualify as a "limiting case"...

China has ramped up surveillance measures in Xinjiang, home to much of its Muslim minority population, according to reports from Radio Free Asia. Authorities sent out a notice over a week ago instructing citizens to install a "surveillance app" on their phones, and are conducting spot checks in the region to ensure that residents have it. " pic.twitter.com/NnNvc7foV4 " — Delinda Tien (@TienDelinda) July 14, 2017 The notice, written in Uyghur and Chinese, was sent by WeChat to residents in Urumqi, Xinjiang's capital. Android users were instructed to scan the QR code in order to install the Jingwang app that...

Officials in the Trump administration's State Department are standing by a recent report criticized by Congress that blamed Israel for terror attacks and claimed Palestinians rarely incite violence, telling the Washington Free Beacon that it remains unclear why terrorists engage in violent acts. Rep. Peter Roskam (R., Ill.), co-chair of the House Republican Israel Caucus, criticized the State Department Thursday for releasing a report portraying Israel as the culprit in terrorism and downplaying Palestinian incitement of violent acts against the Jewish state, the Free Beacon first reported. Roskam demanded the State Department alter its report to bring it more in...

While I tend to vote for Republicans more often than Democrats, keep in mind that I live in the Northeast and Republicans in New Jersey tend to be fairly moderate, as I’d say I am. I have numerous friends who are Democrats and admire many public officials who represent the Democrat party. I believe it is necessary for both major parties to be well represented and combine their ideas, because I think both parties have good ideas that should be implemented. But if the Democrats were smart, they’d run far away from Linda Sarsour. This is a woman who said...

This week, Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor shot Justine Damond to death. Damond was unarmed and in her pajamas at the time of the slaying. The incident occurred after, Damond made a 911 call reporting a possible rape in progress outside her home. She was killed as she spoke to Noor's police partner through the open window of the patrol car. Whether Noor should have been employed as a cop seems more of a triumph of "diversity" than good sense. Those who know him have used words like "extremely nervous," "jumpy," and "the least little thing can set him off."...

Palestinian terrorists have changed the conditions for maintaining the status quo by bringing their slaughter into the immediate vicinity of the Temple Mount holy site Last Friday, three Arabs killed two Israeli police officers who were guarding an entrance to Jerusalem’s holy compound, known to Jews as the Temple Mount and to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary. The police officers were shot with arms that had evidently been smuggled into the compound and stashed there. This latest attack was another in an unending series of terrorist murders of Israelis, but this time the attack took place at Old Jerusalem’s sacred...

People await refugees in Frankfurt in 2015. Photo: DPA An influential German institute has studied thousands of article published by daily newspapers during the refugee crisis. Their conclusion: journalists lost their objectivity and drove a wedge through society. As hundreds of thousands of refugees arrived in Germany in 2015 and early 2016, daily newspapers took on the role of “public educators” rather than objective critics of public policy, a team of researchers at the Otto Brenner Institute conclude, according to a report in Die Zeit this week. The researchers, led by former Die Zeit editor Michael Haller, studied thousands of...
