Dozens of child sex offenders are still walking the streets because police refused to arrest them, according to a whistleblower, Sara Rowbotham has accused police of putting a cap on the number of child sex offenders they arrested for raping and abusing young girls. The veteran social worker, who was responsible for gathering the main evidence in the 2012 Rochdale child sex abuse case, said that as a result dozens of sex offenders were still walking the streets preying on children.

Police are investigating after a man reportedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a Long Island Rail Road train after brutally beheading a woman on Long Island Tuesday. A woman in her 60s was found dead on Secatogue Avenue in Faramingdale, near the LIRR station, officials said. Witnesses say she was the victim of the beheading. They told PIX11 News they originally believed it was a Halloween prank.

Michael Zehaf-Bibeau has been identified by Canadian officials to their American counterparts as the suspected gunman, multiple U.S. officials told CNN. The gunman was killed after two shooting incidents -- one at the Canada War Memorial, and another just minutes later nearby inside Parliament.
