A retired St Louis police captain has been shot dead Tuesday by looters who had broken into his friend's pawn shop. David Dorn, 77, was found dead on the sidewalk in front of Lee's Pawn & Jewelry in the early hours following unrest that followed a peaceful protest over the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. The shooting and theft at the pawn shop apparently was posted on Facebook Live, but the video has since been taken down.

You likely won’t hear a single peep about him from the likes of CNN’s Chris Cuomo, Don Lemon and Brian Stelter, but early Tuesday morning a retired black St. Louis police who’d lived a righteous life and given back to his community was reportedly murdered in cold blood while defending a friend’s pawnshop from one of the left’s beloved looters. A Missouri man who was planning to bomb a Kansas City-area hospital killed himself in March as FBI agents served a probable cause arrest warrant, the FBI said Friday.
