Correct me if I'm wrong, but I haven't seen a single article on Free Republic, or on any place I frequent, talking about the three nights (so far) of rioting in St. Louis after that verdict. St. Louis police is reporting on their twitter that just tonight, there has been significant damage done to businesses in the downtown area, chemicals thrown at police, arrests, injuries received by cops, and weapons and ANTIFA/BLM flags confiscated from violent criminals. See the link above for more information, as I don't know how to post pictures from twitter onto free republic, unfortunately.

Jason Stockley, the former police officer whose acquittal sparked three days of riots and protests in St. Louis, says he did not murder Anthony Lamar Smith. “I did nothing wrong,” Stockley told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “If you’re telling the truth and you’ve been wrongly accused, you should shout it from a mountaintop.” Stockley, 36, was acquitted by Judge Timothy Wilson of first-degree murder in the 2011 shooting of Anthony Lamar Smith, a 24-year-old black man with a lengthy police record. During his 28 years on the bench, Judge Wilson has ruled both for and against police. Before the shooting,...

They also say there was damage to two police vehicles, the St. Louis Public Library and 10 businesses as protesters marched downtown and in the Central West End. St. Louis interim police Chief Lawrence O'Toole says Saturday evening that five officers were taken to hospitals after being hit with bottles or bricks. The arrests of protesters included many for failure to disperse, resisting and interfering....

ST. LOUIS (Reuters) - A Missouri judge on Friday ruled a white former St. Louis police officer was not guilty of murder in the 2011 shooting of a black man, sending hundreds of protesters to the city's streets to voice their anger. With the National Guard on standby in case of violence, authorities appealed to protesters to march peacefully in a state that has seen racially charged clashes in the past. Jason Stockley, 36, was acquitted of first-degree murder for killing Anthony Lamar Smith, 24. The former policeman, who was arrested in May 2016, was accused of planting a gun...

Abortion activists are thanking Satanists this week for making it easier for Missouri women to abort their unborn babies. Together, the abortion giant Planned Parenthood and The Satanic Temple have been fighting viciously to promote abortions and block efforts to protect unborn babies and moms in Missouri. “Abortion access in Missouri is getting easier thanks to Planned Parenthood and Satanists,” a headline at the liberal news site Slate said Tuesday. Breitbart reports the Satanists and the largest baby killing business in the country managed to gain a few victories in the state through their joint efforts this year. For the...

ST. LOUIS • Former St. Louis police officer Jason Stockley was found not guilty Friday of murdering a man while on duty. St. Louis Circuit Judge Timothy Wilson's highly anticipated verdict found a white former St. Louis police officer not guilty of first-degree murder and amed criminal action in the December 2011 shooting death of a black drug suspect after a high-speed pursuit and crash. Activists, with support from some of the city's black clergy, had pledged disruptive protests ahead of St. Louis Circuit Judge Timothy Wilson's verdict.

The Democratic Missouri lawmaker who said on social media she hoped President Trump would be assassinated was publicly censured by the state's Republican-led Senate Wednesday. "Again, I apologize for the Facebook posting," Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal said in a statement released to local media after the reprimand measure passed the Missouri Senate 28-2. "However, I have made it clear that I will not resign. The voters of my district elected me to represent them. I will work tirelessly for the remainder of my elected term to bring about positive change for my constituents and all Missourians." The same legislative body failed...

On 17 September, 2015, Matthew Bowman shot Jimmy Harold Tillery. Tillery was in the driveway of his ex wife, Cheryl Tillery. Bowman used an AK-47 clone. In the initial articles, the firearm was referred to as a ".30-caliber carbine rifle". Cheryl Tillery had finalized the divorce with her ex on 14 August, 2015, about a month before the incident. The Court had issued an emergency protective order on July 20, after an incident where Jimmy Tillery was said to have threatened Matthew Bowman and Cheryl Tillery's lives and the lives of Bowman's two young children. On August 6th, the...

ST. LOUIS – The mayor of St. Louis says the city is “on edge” as it awaits a ruling in the first-degree murder trial of former police officer Jason Stockley, in part because of a troubled history of justice in St. Louis and nationwide. Stockley is accused of fatally shooting Anthony Lamar Smith in 2011. The case was heard last month but it’s unclear when Judge Timothy Wilson will rule. Activists have threatened civil disobedience if Stockley, who is white, is acquitted in the death of the black suspect.

A mysterious series of apparently random killings in Kansas City, mostly committed in isolated spots along walking trails, came to an end when the killer deviated from his pattern with a brazen, execution-style shooting in broad daylight on a city street, according to Jackson County prosecutors. The fifth and final killing came shortly after noon on Aug. 13, when 22-year-old Fredrick Demond Scott allegedly followed a man from a city bus, crept up behind him on the street and shot him in the head — before turning and getting right back on a bus. Like the other four victims Scott...
