Just weeks ago, the 33-year-old with model good looks was an Instagram star, posting endless photographs of himself — some of them shirtless — jetsetting around the world, hobnobbing with celebs, training with troops and surfing and sunbaking in exotic locations. Now, he is the subject of a federal investigation and the target of a multi-million dollar class action. The pictures have also been used to fuel rumours that Schock is gay — an issue only because of his staunchly Republican views and the fact that he campaigned against marriage equality. On April 15, lawyer Daniel Kurowski filed a lawsuit...

Roger Horowitz was out Friday, ripping down fliers he posted about his missing dog, Ollie — not because the dog has been found, but because he's afraid of being hit with the huge fine. Horowitz and his wife, Annemarie, had recently adopted Ollie, a rescue dog that had been shot in Georgia. "He'd been abused by his previous owner and actually shot with a shotgun," Horowitz said. "So he has about 23 pellets still in his back." On March 30, Horowitz was walking Ollie near Georgia Avenue and Euclid Street NW when the dog broke loose. "A car just backfired,...

Moscow (AFP) - Where is President Vladimir Putin? The Kremlin was forced Thursday to insist the Russian leader was in good health as rumours swirled online over his week-long absence from the public eye. Putin was last seen in public on March 5 when he met with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and, ever since he postponed a trip to Kazakhstan this week, Russians have grown increasingly curious about what their usually omnipresent leader is up to.
