TEL AVIV – A staunch denier of the Holocaust who long served as the deputy of late PLO leader Yasser Arafat served on the committee that invented the military doctrine used by President Obama as the main justification for U.S. and international airstrikes against Libya. As WND first reported, billionaire philanthropist George Soros is a primary funder and key proponent of the Global Centre for Responsibility to Protect, the world's leading organization pushing the military doctrine. Several of the doctrine's main founders sit on multiple boards with Soros. The doctrine and its founders, as WND reported, have been deeply tied...

Dear John, What part of "Thou Shalt not Kill" did you not understand? Or did you simply forget because it was rarely on your mind? Maybe you were never taught that in the first place. As I understand it, you're not just a cold blooded murderer, you are now in prison for life - sharing the same unit as Charles Manson. Did you ever think it would come to this? You said you could not get the help you needed. Did you even realize the kind of help you needed was not just mental, but spiritual and emotional? Did you...

"It matters not how a man dies, but how he lives." --Samuel Johnson RONALD WILSON REAGAN, 1911 - 2004 "And whatever else history may say about me when I'm gone, I hope it will record that I appealed to your best hopes, not your worst fears, to your confidence rather than your doubts. My dream is that you will travel the road ahead with liberty's lamp guiding your steps and opportunity's arm steadying your way. My fondest hope for each one of you -- and especially for young people -- is that you will love your country, not for her...

The 37-year-old, U.S.-educated freedom fighter who led a popular uprising in 2003 dubbed the "Rose Revolution," which ousted a former top Soviet official from power told The Washington Times yesterday that the U.S. president is on the right side of history. "It's a new kind of ideology that we have from this president that's kind of crystallized now. It is idealistic. It's a much more moral position, a winning position," "I think President Bush was very fast to capture this mood," he added. The boyish leader of this nation of 4.4 million people sees the sweep of peaceful uprisings in...

The history-making global outpouring of love and respect for Pope John Paul II had the legions of the left singing the blues last week. It’s not just that world attention was focused on St. Peter’s Square, it was that millions flocked to the precedent-setting farewell to the Pope of the People. April 8, 2005 was televised proof that the global secular mission is not only failing–but also failing abysmally. "You can come out now," could be the post pope funeral message to the anti-Christian, dying-with-dignity depopulation movement. Four days after Pope John Paul II’s funeral, former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev...

MOSCOW – In his harshest criticism of the Kremlin to date, jailed tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky accused the Russian government of stealing his Yukos oil empire and warned in a letter published Tuesday that an ongoing crackdown on post-Soviet freedoms will ruin the country. Writing from prison, where he has been for more than 14 months, Khodorkovsky said the sale of Yukos' main production unit into state hands this month "was the most senseless and destructive event in the economic sphere since President Vladimir Putin has taken helm." "Using selective justice, introducing new legal norms and applying them retroactively," the state...
