Israeli elections 2022: The tired R word and the elephant Arab Islamist racism, supremacy, fascism in the area Take a look at Zehava Galon Mererz, total defeat. Her/Meretz's constant R ("racism") word throwing around isn't just making people tired, but draws more attention to the real dangerous bigotry in the area: Arab Islamist leadership, not just Hamas and Palestinian Authority media, Mosque sermons but inside Israel, with its Arab MKs and preachers, especially before (like the Lod grand mosque leader), during, after 2021 anti-Jewish racial riots and the sick glorification of Islamic butchers as supposed heroes. Or in its Islamist...

The State of Israel will be going to vote on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. This will be the fifth election in less than four years. The near parity is between the competing political blocs: the Benjamin Netanyahu’s right-of-center on one hand, and the anti-Netanyahu left-of-center bloc led by Yair Lapid. Netanyahu’s Likud bloc has nevertheless a noticeable advantage; it has a reliable bloc of 60 mandates in the polls, and it may have an even higher number in the real poll – on Election Day. Netanyahu has only to find a single defector to form a narrow coalition government of...

Zehava Galon This is what happens when a supposed "learned" radical lefty is caught in lack of basic English. She tries to rail against Ben Gvir who spoke out against those Arabs who support terror crimes. But she stumbles in speaking in her English propaganda. In another ridiculous "charge," she blamed him for the... 1995 Y. Rabin Killing, no less. Galon is famous for seeking excuses for racist Arab butchers Islamists. The bigot went even so far as misusing the Holocaust in her extreme politics. That, asides her, her party, embracing Arabs but rejecting Mizrachi - Sfardim. Dishonest Zehava Galon...

Murdered Israelis, suicide attacks, murdered Israeli soldiers, the lynching in Ramallah...

Why do so many Palestinian boys join the cycle of violence? The attitude of Palestinian society to Ahmed Shawiki, who went to prison for the murder of a Jewish woman and was recently released, tells the story of the institutional brainwashing of Palestinian youth and children "How does it happen that a 14-year-old boy (his name is Muhammad Shahada) was killed by our soldiers in El Khader today? Why?" asked the left-wing activist, Hagit Ofran, without an answer. This is an incident in which he fired at three Molotov cocktails throwers at Israeli vehicles. One of them, Shahada, was shot...

Nearly four years ago, the Knesset enacted the "Terrorist Salary Offset Law" to try and stop the PA's payments to security prisoners - despite the pressure - the payments did not stop - "The aid goes up in direct proportion to the number of Jews you killed," Alon Eviatar, an expert on the Palestinian arena, explained to N12. "The only element that determines how much everyone gets is your years in prison." Payments by the Palestinian Authority to terrorists who carried out terrorist attacks and are being held in Israeli prisons This is one of the main points of...

A bill which would outlaw gay conversion therapy passed its preliminary hearing in the Knesset Wednesday afternoon. The bill, which was drafted by MK Nissan Horowitz (Meretz), would ban the controversial practice of treating homosexuals with the aim of reversing same-sex attraction. In its preliminary vote, the 120-member Knesset backed the bill by a margin of 42 to 36, after the coalition split, with Blue and White backing the proposed law, while haredi lawmakers and the Likud opposed it - with the exception of Likud minister Amir Ohana. After the vote, haredi lawmakers fumed at Blue and White chief and...

Citing its opposition to "unilateral moves", the leftist Meretz faction will not attend next week's festive opening ceremony for the US Embassy in Jerusalem. "I really want to see all the embassies in Jerusalem, and I want to see Jerusalem recognized by the world as the capital of Israel within recognized and safe borders. I want to see Jerusalem recognized by the world as the capital of Israel," Meretz Chairman Tamar Zandberg told the IDC Herzliya Conference on Thursday. "We simply can not celebrate unilateral moves whose potential for danger is so significant. " According to Zandberg, "Past experience shows...

An Israeli parliamentarian has drawn ire and ridicule after suggesting "Palestine" is a borrowed term that Palestinians themselves cannot pronounce. "The letter P doesn't exist in Arabic, so the borrowed term Palestine is worth debating," MK Anat Berko (Likud) said during a parliamentary debate on Wednesday night. [...] In Arabic, the word is written with an F and is pronounced "Falesteen." Palestinian Arabs not fluent in English often use the letter B as a substitute for P when speaking the language. [...] "Don't you have a brain?" MK Tamar Zandberg, from the left-wing Meretz party, shouted during the session. ...

Meretz chairwoman Zehava Galon blasted Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked and the Transparency Law at Monday evening's discussion of the bill in the Knesset. “This is not transparency; it is political persecution,†she charged. “Those who slander Israel are actually Ayelet Shaked and her settler friends. The world hates Israel not because of what the [leftist] organizations make public...

MK Zehava Galon (Meretz) is trying to get Facebook to block a video produced by grassroots Zionist movement Im Tirtzu, which singles out four leftist activists as examples of "foreign agents" who are assisting the terrorist enemy. Galon called Im Tirtzu's video "warped and dangerous," and claims it encourages viewers to physically harm the four "human rights activists," and amounts to "a call to action." The video "accuses them of assisting terrorists and publishes their names and pictures," she claimed, "under slogans like 'they live here and they have been planted,' and 'while we fight terror, they fight us.' "More specifically, Netanyahu's Likud Party won by siphoning voters away from the other right parties who will become its coalition partners. Mainstream Israeli opinion has shifted to the right: to win, Likud didn't need to win over a swath of centrist voters. It needed to jazz up the Right with nasty rhetoric about Palestinians and Arabs." "Meanwhile, Likud is going through a process that some observers have referred to as Tea Party-ization. Younger Israelis tend to be more conservative, increasingly empowering the more right-wing factions inside Likud. That causes center-right voters to defect to centrist parties, pushing the party ever...

Television exit polls had given Meretz five seats, but the official count before dawn on Wednesday revealed that it had in fact dropped a seat. Meretz Chairman MK Zahava Gal-On intends to petition the Attorney General to stop plans from Minister of Construction Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) to house immigrants from France in Judea and Samaria. Ariel sent a letter asking the Yesha Council where the flow of immigrants from France could settle, as France reels from a string of anti-Semitic attacks. France led the list of countries from which Jews made aliyah to Israel in 2014, with almost 7,000 new French immigrants, more than double the 3,400 who came last year. Aliyah is only expected to increase after the latest spate of anti-Semitic attacks....

ormer MK and primaries contender in the radical leftist Meretz party Mossi Raz, who also is the former secretary general of Peace Now, paid a condolence visit in Ramallah on Tuesday evening at the home of convicted terrorist turned Palestinian Authority (PA) minister Ziad Abu Ein. Abu Ein, who had a long history of health conditions, died last Wednesday of a heart attack during a riot against the IDF. The PA was quick to blame Israel with "murdering" him, accusations which investigations thoroughly debunked as video of the event showed he was not struck, and that an IDF female medic...
