Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., calling the judicial originalism "racist, sexist, homophobic and a fancy word for discrimination" is “patently irresponsible," said Sen. Mike Lee. The term "originalism" refers to a judicial interpretation of the law based on a literal reading. “Of all the irresponsible and inflammatory statements I’ve heard over the last few weeks, and I’ve heard some doozies, this might well be the worst,” Lee, R-Utah, told “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday. “If you think about what he is really saying there, Sen. Markey has essentially said that our Constitution is racist. And [that] an effort to understand it,...

A lesbian activist has urged women to eliminate men from their minds and lives in a controversial new book that claims to provide the ultimate solution to female emancipation. Paris city Councillor Alice Coffin, has revealed in her debut book, Lesbian Genius, that she doesn't listen to music, read books, or watch films made by men and her partner Yuri also only consumes things that have been produced by women. Reflecting on feminism and lesbianism in the years since French feminist Simone de Beauvoir penned The Second Sex, she claimed that the only way for women to be truly emancipated...

With just days to go before the election, President Trump has a lot of things on his mind. And water pressure for toilets appears to be one of them. In a lengthy digression during his rally in Carson City, Nev., on Sunday, Trump claimed that Americans have to “flush their toilet 15 times” due to restrictions on water usage. “You know what really bothers me? When you go into a new hotel or new house, they have these faucets, and you turn them on and no water comes out,” the president said. He then launched into an eight-minute story about...

Dee Snider has slammed Republicans as "shameless liars" and has accused the Trump administration of "sucking up to communist dictators." Snider, who found himself in the middle of controversy in 2016 when he asked Donald Trump to stop using the 1984 TWISTED SISTER anthem "We're Not Gonna Take It" in his campaign, made the comments after one of his Twitter followers claimed that Republicans misrepresent Democrats' abortion views. Dee wrote: "The Republicans are not just liars. They are screaming, preening, bald faced, shameless liars who think that victory at all cost is acceptable as they are the 'moral majority.' THEY...

BLM activist from Indiana admits to posing as black person, vows to ‘seek help’ Another “black” activist has admitted to being a white person. Satchuel Cole, a community organizer for Black Lives Matter in Indiana, fessed up to the years-long ruse in a Facebook post last week — and vowed to “seek help.” “Friends, I need to take accountability for my actions and the harm that I have done. My deception and lies have hurt those I care most about. I have taken up space as a Black person while knowing I am white. I have used Blackness when it...

Dr. Anthony Fauci thinks that we'll probably never get rid of the coronavirus entirely. Still, he's pretty confident that by 2022, Americans should be able to resume most aspects of life as we knew it before the pandemic — "if we deploy a vaccine and we implement public-health measures." Read our wide-ranging interview below, in which we discuss Fauci's daily routine, his tips for holiday gatherings, his advice for how to keep your immune system "working optimally," and more. Dr. Anthony Fauci answers the phone at lunchtime while biting into a cold piece of pizza. The head of the National...

Northwestern law faculty refuse to explain why they introduced themselves as racists Northwestern University law school faculty called themselves racists as they introduced themselves in an online townhall recently, according to a screenshot of the event. The screenshot was obtained by conservative writer Rod Dreher, who noted in his tweet the meeting took place August 28. “Everybody began w/ a ritual denunciation of themselves as racist. Reader: ‘Prof. Speta is not a racist. He is a wonderful man universally loved by students. It makes me sad that he is forced to say otherwise,’” Dreher tweeted. The College Fix has reached...

DENVER (Reuters) - A Colorado transgender teenager who admitted to taking part in a shooting at a Denver-area charter school last year that left one student dead and eight others wounded was sentenced on Friday to life in prison plus an additional 38 years. Alec McKinney, 17, was sentenced in Douglas County District Court for the shooting at the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, on May 7, 2019. A 19-year-old co-defendant in the shooting, Devon Erickson, has pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges and faces trial in September. In February, McKinney pleaded...

President Trump has taken to tweeting “LAW & ORDER!” — no doubt a reflection of his aides’ advice that law and order has been a strong card for Republicans (although they might have imagined some messaging less hysterical than “LAW & ORDER!”). Trump bangs that drum loudly, insisting that a radical mob is roaming the country, coming not just for statues but also for your house and children. It is an issue that he certainly wants to highlight, but for a number of reasons, he very likely is helping Democrats to claim the issue of public order and domestic tranquility....

From an Unhinged Liberal: More deaths from Coronavirus in the US than many wars - and of course that’s with lots of remediation in place. You do realize that’s more Americans (in just 3 months) than were lost in the Vietnam War (58,200), the First World War (53,402), the Korean War (36,574), the 2003 Iraq conflict (4,431) and the Afghanistan misadventure, the longest armed conflict in American history (2,445).

The coronavirus pandemic has disrupted life for billions of people, forcing the world to deal with a sudden loss of jobs, security, and regular health care. But for those who identify as transgender, these barriers have existed for years, and advocates fear the pandemic may only make them worse. One transgender woman, who will be referred to as Jane out of fear for her safety, left her home in a right-leaning town along Florida's Gulf Coast for a homeless shelter in New York City so she can get better access to medical care. She's waited years to get gender affirming...

Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren called on Wednesday for Attorney General William Barr to “resign or face impeachment” after the Justice Department pushed back on prosecutors’ “excessive” sentencing recommendation for President Trump’s longtime adviser Roger Stone. “Congress must act immediately to rein in our lawless Attorney General,” the Massachusetts senator wrote in a tweet. “Barr should resign or face impeachment.” Warren also demanded that Congress use its funding powers to constrain the attorney general’s ability to interfere with “anything that affects Trump, his friends, or his elections.”

So much for peaceful dialogue between all the opposing views in this country. We can all thank the Democrats for the rising racism in our country because it seems that being white is now a problematic thing. At least in the university of Virginia, multicultural center “whites” are not welcomed, guests. A video shows a woman announcing that she felt “uncomfortable” by the presence of white students at a new Multicultural Student Center on the campus of the University of Virginia. “There’s a whole university for a lot of y’all to be at, and there’s very few spaces for us,...

A transgender teenager has pleaded guilty to murder after opening fire on fellow students who he says bullied him. Alec McKinney faces a life sentence over the shooting rampage at the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) School near Denver, Colorado, that left one student dead and injured eight more on May 7. McKinney's friend Devon Erickson, 19, is also accused of carrying out the attack, and pleaded not guilty last month to the same charges of murder and attempted murder. Kendrick Castillo, an 18-year-old pupil at the school in Highlands Ranch, was fatally shot when he charged one of...

It's a statement that's as predictable as it is infuriating: President Donald Trump's administration lacks diversity. On Tuesday, Trump tweeted photos of a briefing he'd received on the new coronavirus spreading out of China. "We will continue to monitor the ongoing developments," the President said in his post. "We have the best experts anywhere in the world, and they are on top of it 24/7!" Who are these experts? They're largely the same sorts of white men (and a couple women on the sidelines) who've dominated the Trump administration from the very beginning. By contrast, former President Barack Obama's circle...

In a press conference on Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi took the opportunity to grandstand rather than responding to a reporter's question. She insisted that even if the U.S. Senate votes against convicting and removing President Donald Trump, he would not be acquitted. Pelosi also went on to say Trump does not know right from wrong. The reporter asked whether Pelosi expects Trump to be "chastened" by the impeachment process or "emboldened because the Senate will have acquitted him." Rather than answering the question, the House speaker launched into a diatribe against Republicans. "Well, he will not be acquitted. You...

Journalism professor Jason Johnson claimed President Trump could threaten to end voting in blue states if the Senate acquits him. "Imagine Donald Trump deciding, sometime in June, 'Well, I heard this conspiracy theory that a whole lot of illegal immigrants voted in California. So, I've decided that, during the presidential election, California has to undergo extreme vetting,'" the MSNBC pundit said Thursday. "This is literally the kind of thing he will do now. We’re not talking hypotheticals, anymore."

“We need a president who will lift up the voices of every gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, queer, Two-Spirt and intersex person,” . . . Warren vows that she will immediately use unilaterally presidential action—not congressionally enacted legislation—to advance LGBTQ+ rights.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is calling for men's restrooms to include tampons in order to prevent discrimination against "every person who menstruates." "While free menstrual products are not uniformly provided in women’s restrooms, they are almost never available in men’s restrooms, even for pay," the group said in a statement Tuesday. "Men’s restrooms are also less likely to have a place to dispose of these products conveniently, privately, and hygienically." The left-leaning legal group argued that it wasn't a "full or accurate portrayal" to say that women are the only ones who "menstruate, get pregnant, or breast feed...
