A victim of Sunday’s early morning terror attack at the Pulse nightclub gave a bombshell interview to an ABC reporter after being released from a local hospital. During the interview the eyewitness, who played dead for several hours during the attack as a strategy to stay alive, said that he had overheard a phone conversation that the shooter was engaged in. The eyewitness said that the shooter made mention that he was the “fourth shooter” and that there were “three others,” “snipers,” along with a ‘female suicide bomber’ that was playing dead.

Authorities are weighing criminal charges against the wife of homegrown terrorist Omar Mateen after she admitted having tried to talk him out of launching his deadly attack on a gay nightclub, according to a report Tuesday.

The Orlando gunman's wife has told federal agents she tried to talk her husband out of carrying out the attack, NBC News has learned. Omar Mateen's current wife, Noor, told the FBI she was with him when he bought ammunition and a holster, several officials familiar with the case said. She told the FBI that she once drove him to the gay nightclub, Pulse, because he wanted to scope it out. Mateen opened fire at Pulse early Sunday, leaving 49 dead and 53 injured.
