BALTIMORE - A woman and a boy were fatally shot Thursday morning in southwest Baltimore. City police said officers were called around 8:19 a.m. to the 100 block of Upmanor Road, where a 31-year-old woman and a young boy believed to be around 8 years old had been shot in the head. Anyone with information about the shootings is asked to call police at 410-396-2100.

A video has recently surfaced of Marilyn Mosby, the district attorney responsible for charging six Baltimore police officers in the death of Freddie Gray, making an appearance on the popular arbitration court series “Judge Judy” more than a decade ago. The video dates back to the early 2000s, in the show’s fifth season, when Mosby was in college and still going by her maiden name, Marilyn James. Mosby was on the program with a rather bizarre case: She was suing business owner Ryan Johnson for damages to the apartment she lived in while at college.

Shannon Cosgrove, deputy director of the office, will be the fourth member of Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake's criminal justice team to leave in recent weeks. Three others have left the office as Baltimore endures a rash of homicides and other violence following last month's rioting and unrest. Angela Johnese, director of the criminal justice office, and Heather Brantner, the mayor's Sexual Assault Response Team coordinator, left their city posts Friday. Officials declined to say under what terms they departed. LeVar Michael, who led the city's anti-violence program Operation Ceasefire, left his position voluntarily a few weeks ago.
