A Delray Beach man was arrested Wednesday after police say they found him aimlessly firing a gun in front of his home. Officers responded at about 6:30 p.m. to Brian Garrahan's residence in the 900 block of Northwest Second Street, a neighborhood of single-family homes north of Atlantic Avenue and east of Pompey Park. An officer saw Garrahan, 37, indiscriminately firing off shots in front of his home, Delray Beach police Sgt. Nicole Guerriero said. No one was struck or injured by the gunfire, Guerriero said. WASHINGTON (AP) -- Two House members introduced a bill Thursday that would remove marijuana from the list of federal controlled substances and cede to the states enforcement of laws governing pot. The legislation would eliminate marijuana-specific penalties under federal law, but would maintain a ban on transporting marijuana across state lines. It would allow individuals to grow and sell marijuana in states that make it legal.

Earlier this month, Verone (pictured), a 59-year-old convenience store clerk, walked into a Gaston, N.C., bank and handed the cashier a note demanding $1 and medical attention. Suspect a Former Marine Corps Reservist ARLINGTON, Va. - UPDATE: FOX News has confirmed that the man taken into custody early Friday after being found near the Pentagon with suspicious materials in his backpack is former Marine Corps reservist Yonathan Melaku. 22-year-old Melaku was arrested in Arlington Cemetery overnight. Seth Foster, 23, said he found his family garage in disarray last summer and sent his dog in the building to investigate. Grizz, a blue heeler, returned with the culprit, a young raccoon. As two teenage boys watched, one of them filming its actions with a cell phone, Grizz killed the coon, Foster said. Now, Foster is facing a misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty resulting in death, which is punishable by a maximum of 90 days in jail and a $500 fine. New York - A Canadian man helped a terror network carry out bombings in Iraq that killed five U.S. soldiers and numerous Iraqi citizens, New York authorities said Wednesday. They said he even tried to become a suicide bomber. Faruq Khalil Muhammad 'Isa is charged in Brooklyn in a truck bomb attack outside U.S. base in Mosul, Iraq, on April 10. Five American soldiers were killed. Muhammad was arrested in Edmonton, Alberta, on Wednesday, authorities said. The network allegedly used Tunisian radicals to help carry out bombings. A second attack at an Iraqi police station killed seven Iraqis, prosecutors said.

A gun-wielding man wearing a Hillary Clinton mask robbed a Sterling bank on Dec. 27, authorities said. The man walked into the Wachovia bank in Community Plaza about 9:14 a.m., approached a teller, brandished a firearm and demanded cash, according to Loudoun County sheriff’s office reports. The robber then fled the bank in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported, according to Kraig Troxell, spokesman for the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. A South Carolina man has been arrested for threatening to want to kill President Obama for not doing enough to help out black people. Gerald Rushton was killed by his pet European red stag deer. While feeding the animal he was attacked by the buck and was stomped and gored by it. This was all witnessed by his granddaughter who immediately ran to get Mrs. Rushton who then called 911 for help.
