CAVE JUNCTION, Ore. — Deputies with the Josephine County Sheriff's Office arrested three men on Sunday after they allegedly tried to lure children into their vehicle at Jubilee Park. Shortly before 4:30 a.m., deputies responded to reports of a disturbance at the park, with callers advising that several men had tried to lure children into their vehicle. One man left the scene and headed towards downtown Cave Junction, but several people followed him from a distance and were able to report his location to deputies. People at the park grabbed and held onto two other men until deputies could take...

Three people have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a pregnant Chicago woman who was strangled before her baby was cut from her womb, authorities announced Thursday. The older woman’s boyfriend, 40-year-old Piotr Bobak is charged with concealing a death by homicide, police said. Desiree Figueroa, who pretended Ochoa-Lopez's baby was hers, admitted to helping her mother strangle the woman with a coaxial cable, police said. Ochoa-Lopez’s body was found early Wednesday behind the house, more than three weeks after she was last seen leaving her high school on April 23. That same day, paramedics were...
  • Strzok-Page Texts Refer to 'Oconus Lures' (Spies) in December of 2015

The Senate on Monday released 500 pages of documents, including text messages between demoted counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok and his paramour, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page. One of the formerly redacted texts suggests that the FBI may have been snooping into the Trump campaign way earlier than previously believed. Without mentioning any campaign specifically, the December 2015 text message refers to "oconus lures," which is FBI lingo for spies outside the continental United States. Strzok was leading the Clinton investigation at the time and would go on to play a central role in the Trump/Russia probe. It is being assumed...

In the wake of the revelation that an FBI informant lured George Papadopoulos to London during the 2016 campaign, the former Trump campaign adviser has grown skeptical of many of his contacts during and after the election, his wife says. Papadopoulos’ contacts with the FBI informant — a former University of Cambridge professor named Stefan Halper — have been widely reported over the past several weeks. The 30-year-old Chicago native’s interactions with Joseph Mifsud and Alexander Downer, two diplomats who are key to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the election, are also well known. Simona Mangiante,...

Once again, it appears the FBI redacted documents to Congress in order to hide illicit behavior. The FBI hid that they were using sources to “lure” US citizens (Trump officials?) in the UK.

The backstory is important here. Two days ago internet researcher Nick Falco discovered a potentially damning text dated December 28th 2015 within a previously released set of Lisa Page and Peter Strzok text messages. The original text was redacted in one section (Page #31); however, somehow further down the release (Page #159) the same text was not redacted. It is presumed the FBI redacted the word “lures”, whereas the IG did not. In one release (page #31) the word “lures” was redacted. In the second release (page #159) it was NOT redacted.

The fact that it’s being proposed by Republicans doesn’t make it any more economically palatable. Madness is rare in individuals — but in groups, parties, nations, and ages it is the rule — Friedrich Nietzsche ‘Cap and trade was just one way of skinning the cat; it was not the only way,” Barack Obama declared after Democrats’ disastrous losses in the 2010 midterm elections. That shellacking finally killed off the Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade bill. From it was born the EPA’s Clean Power Plan and the Obama administration’s war on coal, in turn a contributory factor to Donald Trump’s election and Republicans’...

In the wake of the attacks in Brussels, Ted Cruz said in part: “Donald Trump is wrong that America should withdraw from the world and abandon our allies. Donald Trump is wrong that American should retreat from Europe, retreat from NATO, hand Putin a major victory and while he’s at it hand ISIS a major victory.” Trumpsters, of course, took Cruz’s comments as a personal insult to Trump, saying that Cruz “blamed” Trump for the Islamic terror attack in Brussels. Pro-Putin conspiracy theorists InfoWars posted a video quoting Cruz saying “It is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for weakening...

A SATANIST obsessed with teenage schoolgirls invented a fake gothic society online to groom them for sex in the grounds of Sydney's Rookwood Cemetery. Daniel William Peckham, 24, lured at least three girls, aged from 13 to 17, into the cemetery on his MySpace blog, "Rookwood Gothic Society". A message on the site read: "If you have hang-ups about getting naked ... you are not welcome." Peckham pleaded guilty yesterday to the aggravated sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl and to using the internet to solicit and transmit naked pictures of young girls between 2005 and 2007. The opening day...

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. Legislators have approved $155.3 million to lure yet another California biotechnology institute to Florida. The Burnham Institute for Medical Research, based in the San Diego area, now is deciding whether to build its 175,000-square-foot facility in Port St. Lucie or Orlando. "This is the beginning of us becoming the premier research state in the nation, if not the world," state Sen. Ken Pruitt, R-Port St. Lucie, said Thursday after the Legislative Budget Commission's approval of the funds. The commission meets periodically when the Legislature isn't in session to make certain state financial decisions that can't wait until the...

In a highly unusual move contradicting federal protocol, immigration officials went to a Toronto school yesterday and threatened to take away two young sisters if their parents, illegal immigrants, did not show up to turn themselves in within 30 minutes. Their Costan Rican mother, who arrived in tears at St. Jude school a short time later, was taken to a detention centre with the frightened girls, age 7 and 14. But she was released into a friend's care last night with her daughters. "This is very strange. I don't understand what happened," Alvaro Serdas said through an interpreter, of the...

Woman's scent can lure or repel Men said the women's odour was most intense during menstruation A woman's body odour can help her attract men when she is at her most fertile and repel them when she is not, scientists have said. According to a report in the journal Ethology, when a woman is at the most fertile part of the menstrual cycle her armpit odour is at its mildest. But when she is having a period, and not ready for pregnancy, the smell changes to an acute, repellent odour. The researchers studied 12 women who wore armpit pads for...

CHICAGO - They call her "Ana." She is a role model to some, a goddess to others — the subject of drawings, prayers and even a creed. She tells them what to eat and mocks them when they don't lose weight. And yet, while she is a very real presence in the lives of many of her followers, she exists only in their minds. Ana is short for anorexia, and — to the alarm of experts — many who suffer from the potentially fatal eating disorder are part of an underground movement that promotes self-starvation and, in some cases, has...

A South Carolina construction worker and his family paid more than $100,000 for what he called "the Holy Grail" of fishing lures last weekend, setting a world record for the highest price paid for a fishing collectible at an auction. Tracey Shirey and seven other bidders -- including several bidding by telephone -- parried back and forth before the price of the rare 10-inch copper Haskell Minnow topped out at $92,000 during Lang's Sporting Collectables' fall auction at the Boxborough Holiday Inn. With the 10 percent buyer's premium added, the lure, made by Riley Haskell of Painesville, Ohio, in the...

Monster Squid Grips Racing Yacht? AFP Jan. 16 — A French yacht taking part in the Jules Verne round-the-world sailing trophy was gripped by a giant squid for about an hour in the mid-Atlantic, its skipper announced by radio-link. Veteran yachtsman Oliver de Kersauson, at the helm of the trimaran Geronimo, said the three-hulled boat was hit by strange vibrations on Sunday, so he sent a crew member below deck to try to identify what was wrong. "Suddenly he saw something moving," de Kersauson said. "It was tentacles. "The squid was pulling really hard, so we put the boat...
