This morning Republicans are just beginning to assess the damage that former House Speaker and current presidential candidate Newt Gingrich has done to the GOP budget plan currently before Congress. On "Meet the Press" Sunday, Gingrich denounced House Budget Committee chairman Paul Ryan's plan to restructure Medicare, saying, "I don't think right-wing social engineering is any more desirable than left-wing social engineering. I don't think imposing radical change from the right or the left is a very good way for a free society to operate."

I never will forget meeting former North Carolina State Senator Hugh Webster my senior year of high school. He came to my school and had lunch with the seniors. As he sat down beside me, I asked him to tell me what he most loved and hated about being in Raleigh. I don't remember what he most loved, but I'll never forget what he most hated. In the words of Mr. Webster, "I don't deal well with incompetent people." At that point, I knew Mr. Webster and I were kindred spirits. I too don't deal well with incompetent people. As...

The Anaheim gang member raised by a single mother had received a second chance -- or maybe it was his first -- to turn his life around when he settled a lawsuit against the city and police for $2.5 million. In December, he was waiting for the check and paving his future with good intentions. But four months later he was back in prison for violating parole; he had been caught associating with other gang members.(snip)Attorney Richard Longoria, who represented Muñoz in a criminal case, said his client lacked self-esteem, "which makes it extremely difficult for him to find a way...

Bush has a fork in him. Look at the polls. You see them. What makes you think it's gonna get any better for the appointed one? Only the dedicated neo-cons support this clown. Your boy is toast. I hope you guys won't do anything rash after he loses horribly on November 2. President Kerry will make this country much better. Just keep that in mind and you'll be fine. Better yet, jump on the Kerry bandwagon and support a return to peace and prosperity. Come on guys, I'm on your side.

This paper was prepared by students from Northwestern University Law School and the University of Chicago Law School. We believe this paper will ultimately be faxed, mailed and e-mailed to several million Americans. For this reason, we have chosen to write in a style and format that is easily understood by readers at all levels. This paper has one aim: To show that ample evidence exists to issue an indictment against former President George Herbert Walker Bush (#41, father of George W. Bush) for the crime of murder in regard to the people who perished in terrorist attacks in the...
