London Mayor Sadiq Khan has claimed the democratically elected leader of the United States, president Donald Trump, does not deserve a state visit to the United Kingdom. Khan, who last year disrespectfully approved a giant balloon of the president wearing a diaper to be flown over the British capital, told British radio station LBC that Trump was not "in the same class" as former President Barack Obama.

“This isn’t just about me – it’s about my friends, my family and everyone who comes from a background similar to mine, anywhere in the world,” Kahn said. He added that Trump’s view of Islam could result in violence. “Donald Trump’s ignorant view of Islam could make both of our countries less safe – it risks alienating mainstream Muslims around the world and plays into the hands of extremists. “Donald Trump and those around him think that Western liberal values are incompatible with mainstream Islam – London has proved him wrong.” What Kahn is essentially saying is Trump’s “ignorant view”...
