The word Hero is often used casually in modern American Society. Occasionally, however, someone comes along who truly fulfills the meaning of the word.~snip~ Joan of Arc, I am sure, never planned to be the heroine* of the 100 years war. And Emily Miller, on New Year’s Day, 2010, scared and angry, surely never gave thought to the notion that she would be soon hailed as a heroine of the gun rights and self defense community.
