FULL-strength beer has been banned from the Commonwealth Games boxing venue in a bid to curb rowdy spectators. Games organisers described the move as "proactive" while Victoria Police chief Christine Nixon said she did not have figures at hand on how many people had been ejected for drunken behaviour.
