In a shocking twist of the ensuing statue crisis ripping this nation apart, Republican senators Ron Johnson (R-WI) and James Langford (R-OK) quietly introduced legislation last week to remove the national Christopher Columbus federal holiday. No doubt they were cowardly kowtowing to the political pressure of the times. In doing so though they have done a great disservice to this country and have given the rioters, vandals, and revisionist historians an unmerited moral victory.

During an interview with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum on June 24, the leader of Black Lives Matter’s (BLM) Greater New York chapter, Hawk Newsome, threatened that “if this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it.â€Â He also said that for BLM to “intervene effectively†would be an example of “upholding the Second Amendment.†To the contrary, however, the violence and destruction Newsome threatened, and the violent crimes and property crimes rioters have been committing in support of BLM’s political objectives the last few weeks, are things the Second Amendment is...

Editor's Note: This column was coauthored by Bernard Kerik. Black Lives Matter (BLM), Inc., Joe Biden and the DNC own the death and destruction of this past weekend, in cities like, Atlanta, New York and Cleveland.Joe Biden and the Democratic National Committee(DNC) have surrendered to the Radical Left (Black Lives Matter, Inc., Antifa,etc.). The Democratic Party(DNC) has had decades to fulfill its promises to black Americans, but all it’s delivered is crime-ridden cities bereft of economic opportunity. It’s time to shake things up. show the extent of DNC failure and expose BLM, Inc. for the fraud that it is.For weeks...

Today, the nostrum goes, it is not enough for Americans to be not racist. They must be "anti-racist." This woke terminology has infused our lexicon. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), recently declared from the well of the Senate: "Being race-conscious is not enough. It never was. We must be anti-racists." What, pray tell, is the difference between being against racism and being anti-racist? Ibram X. Kendi, author of "How to Be An Antiracist," provides an answer: Racism is no longer to be defined as the belief that someone is inferior based on race. Instead, racism is to be defined as the...

Americans first watched in horror as mobs of anarchists seized the streets of our major cities, breaking windows, setting fires, and looting stores. Then they began pulling down statues that had stood for decades, or in many cases, more than a century. The real targets of the violent Leftists are not George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt, whose faces are carved into Mount Rushmore. Rather, the goal is to discredit America itself by smearing those who gave us the freedom and prosperity we enjoy today.Local police in Democrat-controlled cities have mostly stood and watched silently, neither...

What do George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, Ulysses S. Grant, Father Junipero Serra and Christopher Columbus have in common? None were Confederate generals, and yet all have had their statues torn down by mobs in the last few days -- or, in the case of Roosevelt, had New York's Museum of Natural History announce that a Roosevelt statue at the museum's entrance will soon be removed. The mobs ripped down statues in Portland, Oregon, San Francisco, Minneapolis, and several other cities without any fear of police interference. The police might as well have been defunded, for all they did...

Dear Sane Democrats, As a conservative, I have some questions I’d like to ask you. I don’t mean this in a hostile way at all. I’m genuinely curious about the answers, even if some of them are phrased in a way that may come off as hostile or offensive. I assure you, the inquiry behind each of them is serious, and I’m hoping some of you might be able to help me understand what you’re thinking. We always hear the political left tell us, “It’s time we have a serious conversation about” whatever it is Democrats want to push at...

I don’t care about the Confederate flag or the Confederacy. Additionally, I was and continue to be largely indifferent as to whether the Confederate flag flies over government buildings. If I were forced to make a call on it, I’d generally lean toward taking it down just because I do understand how many black Americans could genuinely see the Confederate flag as a symbol of slavery and racism. It isn’t a Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the #blacklivesmatter idiots that are looking for something they can use to get on TV thing; it’s something real that anybody can empathize with,...

I love being hated. And if you don’t think I’m hated then you haven’t read my most recent rating on www.RateMyProfessor.com. For those too lazy to click the link (that means liberals), I’ve reprinted the latest rating below: “I hate this guy on a personal level. He is a hyper-conservative homophobic a**hole. I disagree with his beliefs in every way and have never in my life had a professor or teacher I disliked more. I have to admit he's a good professor as far as covering course material in a clear manner, but his class policy is also very...

Watching the “Occupy Wall Street†mutants (as I less-than-affectionately call them) riot on Thursday as part of their “Day of Action,†I couldn’t help but notice a striking resemblance to children throwing temper tantrums. And I couldn’t help but think: Why would adults act this way? The “occupiers†are the post-digested remains of the natural journey through the intestinal tract of the metastasizing liberal ideology in education and pop culture. The “millennials,†as they’re called, are the first generation spawned from the “progressive†idea of equal outcome disguised as equal opportunity. They are the “Participation Ribbon People†– a generation...

Although the CLOUD experiment carried out in CERN didn't quite drive a stake through the heart of the global-warming ideology, it came close to. Through simulating the atmosphere being bombarded by cosmic rays, the experiment produced microscopic droplets of water vapour. It established that higher levels of cosmic rays do indeed lead to more droplets in the sky, a claim denied by all global-warming models. As of yet, the droplets produced in the CERN lab aren't large enough to form clouds. So far, a solid causation has not supplemented an already-established correlation. In response to CLOUD, some global-warming supporters are...
