Mark Levin went after NRO writer Patrick Brennan for taking cheap shots at Sarah Palin over her NRA speech this weekend. (snip) Levin points out that Sarah Palin is out there “breaking her neck trying to get conservatives elected and trying to keep the base strong” and she’s dismissed by people on “our side.” “This is how “our side” treats “our side,”” Levin adds. “You’ll never seen the left or Democrats do that to a woman on their side ever!”

WASHINGTON – Momentum is building behind what would be an unprecedented effort to amend the U.S. Constitution, through a little-known provision that gives states rather than Congress the power to initiate changes. At issue is what's known as a "constitutional convention," a scenario tucked into Article V of the U.S. Constitution. At its core, Article V provides two ways for amendments to be proposed. The first – which has been used for all 27 amendment to date – requires two-thirds of both the House and Senate to approve a resolution, before sending it to the states for ratification. The Founding...

Caterpillar avoided $2.4 billion in taxes thanks to a reorganization that housed its most profitable business in Switzerland, according to a Senate report. While the report, from the Senate Permanent subcommittee on Investigations, said Caterpillar had done nothing illegal, it criticized the manufacturing giant for trying to avoid paying U.S. taxes. “Caterpillar is an American success story that produces tremendous industrial machines,” Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), the head of the investigatory panel, said Monday. “But it’s also a member of the corporate profit-shifting club that has shifted billions of dollars in profits offshore to avoid paying U.S. taxes,” Levin said....

Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin endorsed Oklahoma Senate candidate T.W. Shannon Monday. Shannon, arguably the most conservative House Speaker in Oklahoma's history, has been surging in the polls, propelled in part by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's endorsement. Shannon trailed Rep. James Lankford (R-OK) by 35 points but has closed the gap to single digits in a poll taken four days after Palin's endorsement. "I've taken a very close look at this race and have talked to a number of folks who know Shannon," Levin wrote on his Facebook page. "I want to join great conservatives, like my friend...

Earlier today we wrote about how Cruz, Lee, Paul, Enzi, and Robertson were all standing together to strip the IMF legislation out of the aid package bill for Ukraine. As I said earlier, the IMF legislation would basically double the contribution of the US to the IMF fund while lessening America’s influence over how that money is spent. So what does McConnell do? Does he stand with the filibuster effort? No, pushes Republicans to vote for the bill, thus making sure to get Harry Reid his 60 votes to pass the bill to prevent the filibuster led by Cruz and...

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mark Levin will headline the inaugural Breitbart News Saturday show, on Sirius XM Patriot Channel 125, that will debut on March 1 from 10 AM EST to 1 PM EST. Hosted by Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon and a rotation of Breitbart News editors and contributors, Breitbart News Saturday will continue and expand on the format of the Breitbart News Sunday franchise that features stories and narratives that drive the upcoming week’s news cycle from the pages of Breitbart News. Breitbart News Saturday will supplement commentary and analysis from the contributors and editors of the Breitbart News...

Video at link: 46 seconds. (CNSNews.com) -- At a meeting of Tea Party conservatives in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said President Barack Obama “doesn’t have the constitutional authority to do half of what he’s doing,” and added that the “Republican leadership” has not taken any steps to stop Obama's unconstitutional actions. CNSNews.com asked Levin, “Do you believe Obama has the constitutional authority to address climate change or minimum wage without congressional approval?” Levin said, “Of course not. He doesn’t have the constitutional authority to do half of what he’s doing.” “But nobody appears to...

Radio’s Mark Levin will keynote a five-year anniversary event for the Tea Party movement hosted by Tea Party Patriots in Washington, D.C., Breitbart News has learned exclusively. “The Tea Party, which consists of millions of hard working taxpayers, is to be celebrated not condemned,” Levin told Breitbart News. “The ruling class must be trounced and its media cheerleaders must be exposed if the republic is to survive. The Tea Party is our only hope. It's a great honor to be asked to speak to such outstanding and courageous patriots,” he added. Levin, the host of The Mark Levin Show, served...

Two months ago, Emma Roller and I wrote about the possibly historic Assembly of the States in Mount Vernon. Momentum had been building oh-so-slowly on the right for a new, state-led constitutional convention, which could pass amendments far quicker than the Congress could. (And no one sees a scenario, any time soon, where there'll be 67 conservative votes in the Senate to pass amendments.) The reaction: Largely just a lot of doubt that this would come to anything.

The Unprecedented, Powerful Coalition Three Major Conservative Personalities Are Building Likely Has the Establishment Terrified Two heads are better than one, as the old saying goes. That surely means that three heads are even better. If there’s any truth to that saying, the establishment in Washington and progressives everywhere are likely none too pleased to hear that conservative personalities Glenn Beck, Mark Levin and Sean Hannity are on the same page and joining forces to help the country get back on what they feel is the right path. After previously allowing themselves to be caught up in a “stupid” competitive...

Glenn Beck explained on his radio show today that he, Mark Levin and Sean Hannity are forming an alliance since they all feel the same way about our current batch of Republicans. Now I’m not exactly sure what this will look like going forward, however it is apparently a thing now. And Beck would also love to have Rush come on board as well as you’ll hear in the video below:

Mark Levin LIVID over Obama admin not being held accountable for ANYTHING, yet going after Republicans like Christie Posted on Jan 24, 2014 at 12:06 PM Mark Levin highlighted the investigations into Republicans like Dinesh D’Souza, Chris Christie, Bob McDonnell, and Scott Walker while noting that this administration hasn’t been held accountable for anything they’ve done – most notably, Benghazi, the IRS, or Fast and Furious. Now he isn’t arguing that all of these Republicans are innocent, but he did call yesterday’s subpoenas by the US Attorney to Christie’s campaign and the NJ GOP a ‘fishing expedition’.

Last week on his call-in radio program, conservative commentator Mark Levin disparaged the spreading push by states’ rights activists like The Imaginative Conservative’s friend Kevin R.C. Gutzman for “nullification” by state legislatures of overreaching federal legislation. Sadly, Levin chose to slur the notion as a fundamentally “neo-Confederate” desideratum, one he views as, among other dreadful things, “nullifying” his recent push for a convention of the states. Now, that’s not nice—or true—at all. Some sharp observers have taken notice of Levin’s unkind—and untrue—accusations, but they’ve missed some of the acute angles. Everyone seems to agree that a nullification-supporter de facto sets...

On last night's show, Mark Levin called for Republican congressmen and senators to boycott Obama’s State of the Union Speech on January 28th. Obama openly despises our constitutional process. At his first SOTU, he mocked the justices of the Supreme Court with whom he disagreed. From his first day in office, he told the world he would rule with or without Congress. That is one promise he has kept. This past week alone, Obama assumed, for practical purposes, the House of Representatives’ power of the purse. Yesterday, the Senate passed the House omnibus budget. Not a single rank and file...

Recently, The New American has reported on the efforts by radio talk show host Mark Levin and others to push for a constitutional convention (a convention of the states, in the parlance of the proponents). In his new book, Levin argues that such a convention is the last hope “to reform the federal government from its degenerate, bloated, imperial structure back to its (smaller) republican roots.” Unfortunately, many otherwise well-educated and well-meaning conservatives have succumbed to Levin’s siren song and they have gone so far as to deny the constitutionality of nullification and to insist that an Article V convention...

MARK LEVIN: We are witnessing a gradual, quiet COUP! Posted on Jan 14, 2014 at 6:57 PM Mark Levin opened his show today livid over Obama’s announcement that he will ignore the legislature and use his pen to write executive orders. He says the separation of powers are the key to our Republic and yet today Obama just announced that he would assume lawmaking powers via executive orders. Mark Levin says what’s going on here is that we are witnessing a gradual, quiet coup: He’s just announced that he is going to assume lawmaking powers. He does not recognize the...

The communications director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) tried to smear conservative talk radio host Mark Levin Thursday by alleging that outside groups spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to make his book a best-seller, which they did not. Levin responded by saying he would hold Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and NRSC Chairman Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS) personally responsible for the 'intimidation tactics.'

If you have not heard, the National Republican Senatorial Committee has attacked nationally syndicated conservative radio host and best selling author Mark Levin. They publicly attacked Mark Levin because the Jim DeMint created Senate Conservatives Fund (“SCF”) gives out copies of Mark Levin’s book. The NRSC alleges a quid pro quo relationship to help drive up the popularity of Levin’s book. The book was published in 2009 before SCF was a significant force and had already become a best seller before SCF gave out copies. This attack follows the National Republican Senatorial Committee (“NRSC”) attacking conservative businesses and threatening to...
