Supposedly as a result of threats by the group Students for a Democratic Society, UCLA has canceled a debate organized by the student group L.O.G.I.C., which was scheduled to include Carl Braun of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. Furthermore, L.O.G.I.C. has been informed it is responsible not only for the security within their events, but also for any disturbances caused by them, effectively censoring the club from having any controversial events in the future. University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh police are investigating a death threat against the school’s College Republicans chair. Nate Nelson received an e-mailed death threat last month, the day after attending a political rally on campus. The e-mail threatened both Nelson’s life and the life of his wife, Kelly.
