Even as consumer confidence ticks back up, a majority of Americans said they disapprove of the way President Barack Obama is handling the economy. The news comes just weeks after the president launched a new push to bolster the country's tepid economic growth. A new Gallup poll conducted Aug. 7-11 showed 35 percent of responders approved of Obama's handling of the economy. That's down from 42 percent in a similar poll taken the month before.
