Democrats will use him as they do any convenient minority within arm's length, but he's not the first to lose a son defending the interests of the United States and thousands of military personnel and civilians have been killed, maimed, tortured, and raped by the very people he's an advocate for. It will come of as Islamophobic by those who disagree and that's fine.
