"The whole story, it seems, was concocted to stir up hatred against Christians and stoke outrage. It succeeded. Remember last summer when a mass grave containing the remains of hundreds of children was found on the grounds of a former government boarding school for indigenous children in British Columbia, Canada? In the seven months since this shocking news broke, not one body has been found, and not a single shovel-full of dirt has been excavated from the site in question. Contrary to the worldwide media coverage last summer, nothing, in fact, has been “discovered” on the grounds of the Kamloops...

Public affairs officer Capt. Jennifer Casey died in the crash, pilot seriously injured after jet crashed into house in Brocklehurst. Kamloops Mayor Ken Christian said the Snowbirds remain parked at Kamloops Airport for the foreseeable future. The incident took place seconds after a pair of Snowbirds aircraft took off from Kamloops Airport at about 11:45 a.m. Dozens of versions of video of the crash and its aftermath circulated on social media in the hours that followed. The videos show one of the planes flying vertically before a pilot is ejected, followed by an airborne explosion and the subsequent crash. Some...

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - A Canadian Forces Snowbirds plane crashed in a residential area of Kamloops, B.C., on Sunday, sending neighbours pouring onto the street where they said debris was scattered and a house was on fire. The Kamloops Airport said emergency crews were responding to the crash as defence officials were scrambling for details about the incident, the second crash involving the military's famed aerobatic team in less than a year. British Columbia Health Minister Adrian Dix said one person was in hospital after paramedics and air ambulances responded to the crash.

Atheists groups are demanding once again that a city in British Columbia remove a pro-life banner authorized to fly on city-owned polls this week, saying that it violates city policy on street banners. But like last year, the city is again refusing to budge. City administrator David Trawin confirmed on Tuesday that the banner meets the city’s criteria, since it does not contain any offensive words or messages. The blue banner, hoisted on behalf of the Kamloops Pro-Life Society, includes a silhouette of a baby, young girl, and elderly woman standing beneath a tree. The text reads, "One life can...

Having tolls removed from a major route in British Columbia, Canada, has taken some of the sting out of the cost of operating a trucking business in that province, but there’s still plenty of sting to go around. In late September, the government removed a $20 truck toll and $10 passenger vehicle toll from the Coquihalla Highway, which connects the city of Hope to Kamloops, B.C., in the Canadian West. Provincial officials said that truckers were pleased with the move, and they were. “Given the price of fuel, truckers are very happy with this,” Bridgitte Anderson, spokeswoman for British Columbia...
