HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Houston woman accused of kidnapping and killing a 12-year-old boy nearly three years ago learned her fate Tuesday morning. A judge found Mona Nelson guilty of capital murder in the 2010 death of Jonathan Foster. After the verdict was read, Judge Jeannine Barr sentenced Nelson to life in prison. During an afternoon news conference today, Houston Police investigators said Mona Yvette Nelson, the woman charged with capital murder in the death of 12-year-old Jonathan Foster, may be a child serial killer. Officers said they are investigating whether Nelson may be involved in the deaths of other children.
