PITTSBURGH - A Pittsburgh police recruit accused of assaulting his wife was arrested Tuesday, according to a criminal complaint. Jabbar Karwan is facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault and making terroristic threats. According to the criminal complaint, the victim told police Karwan was training to become a police officer, and that he had handcuffed her, threatened her with his night stick and pointed a gun to her head.
