“Schoolchildren banned from singing Silent Night over fears it will offend other religions.” So reads a headline in the Express. Instead of singing the lyrics which might “offend other religions,” schoolchildren in Bresciano, Italy were told to hum the tune.If you have trouble guessing what other religion might take offense, it probably means that you’ve spent the last eight years in the Galapagos Islands studying the evolution of finches. Either that, or you work for the State Department. Those who have been paying attention know that the religion in question is Islam. The new rule, to paraphrase Robert Spencer,...

For a country long accustomed to being overshadowed by its mammoth regional neighbors India and Pakistan, the choice by Pope Francis to give Bangladesh its first-ever cardinal set off a national surge of pride that shows no signs of abating. MUMBAI, India – Bangladesh is the fourth largest Islamic country in the world by population, with almost 150 million Muslims, representing a robust 86 percent of the country’s total. Its Muslim ethos is clear, including a 1988 constitutional amendment declaring an “Islamic way of life” as a basis for national identity.Yet right now, Bangladesh is basically going gaga over a...

Iannis asks to nominate someone else(ANSA-AP) BUCHAREST, Romania - Romania's president says he will not nominate as prime minister an economist who could have become the country's first female Muslim premier. Iohannis called on the Social Democratic Party, winners of the Dec. 11 elections, which put her name forward last week, to nominate someone else for premier. He did not say why he would not name Shhaideh,...

A far-right French mayor will be tried on hate charges over comments that include a claim the number of Muslim students in his city was a "problem", a judicial source said Wednesday. Robert Menard, who is an ally of France's anti-immigrant National Front party, will face a charge in a Paris court of incitement to hatred or discrimination, the source said. "In a class in the city centre in my town, 91 percent of the children are Muslims. Obviously, this is a problem. There are limits to tolerance", he said in September 5 comments on French news channel LCI. Also...

Taken from 1Peter5, Andrew Bieszad “Whoever does not embrace the Catholic Christian faith is lost, like your false prophet Muhammad.” -St. Peter Mavimenus (d. 8th century), martyr from Gaza. Response reported in the Martyriologum Romanum when he was asked to convert to Islam by a group of Muslims. “There is also the superstition of the Ishmaelites which to this day prevails and keeps people in error, being a forerunner of the Antichrist…. From that time to the present a false prophet named Mohammed has appeared in their midst. This man, after having chanced upon the Old and New Testaments and...

This is the official Vatican line. Pope Francis has said that “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.” In the prevailing atmosphere of papal idolatry, some Catholic authorities believe that this is binding Catholic teaching that all Catholic believers must accept. The papal idolaters don’t realize that in insisting on this they are cutting the ground out from their own feet, as their position would be tantamount to binding believers to a falsehood, which would mean that the Catholic Church itself is false. “Leave them; they are blind guides. And if...

Despite appearances to the contrary, the murder of the Russian ambassador in Ankara and the Berlin massacre in a Christmas market have nothing to do with religion but are economically motivated, according to the secretary general of the Italian bishops’ conference. On Monday, a gunman shot the Russian ambassador to Turkey, Andrei Karlov, at an art exhibition in Ankara, reportedly shouting “Allahu akbar” while he gunned him down. Later in the day, a Muslim Pakistani “refugee” drove a semi through a Christmas market in Berlin, killing 12 people and injuring many others. In an interview with the Italian daily, Corriere...

Nine dead, dozens injured in the Berlin Christmas Market: may they rest in peace. In the Turkish capital, the Russian ambassador is slaughtered under the cry of, "Allah is great." Each day, the Muslim brutality increases in intensity and shock -- and an emasculated Western media becomes increasingly afraid of identifying the culprit. The culprit is Islam. There is no other. The religion of the scimitar, of violence, of murder, of sexual perversion will always be Islam. May the sweetness of the coming Baby Jesus convert the hearts of Muslims and secularists alike, so they can one day recognize that...

The Islamic Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has switched from the lunar-based Islamic calendar, which starts with the emigration of Muhammad from Mecca to Medina, to the "Western" Gregorian calendar, named after Pope Gregory XIII and based on Jesus Christ's birth. The decision, taken during a recent cabinet session chaired by King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, is an austerity measure to deal with its budget deficit, according to reports, which say the drop in crude oil prices beginning 2014 has hit the world's top oil exporter hard. The Muslim calendar, also known as Hijri, loses some 11 days a year so that Islamic...

‘Unknown Persons’ Go On Massive Anti-Christian Rampage In Germany And Destroy, Deface, Or Behead Over 50 Christian Crosses And Statues Of Jesus Coesfeld in a city in a heavily Catholic area and also the most populated state of Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia. It is also the most heavily Muslim area of Germany, as 1 in 3 Muslims in the country live there. Therefore, given the increasing anti-Christian violence at the hands of the new Muslim “arrivals” and given the Christ-hating nature of Islam, it should be no surprise that over 50 Christian crosses and statues of Jesus were violently defaced or...

From Paradise to Bolshevik Thought Police* "It would have been better if the Dutch state had sent a clear signal [to terrorists] via a Dutch court that we foster a broad notion of the freedom of expression in the Netherlands." — Paul Cliteur, Professor of Jurisprudence, Leiden University. * The historic dimension of Wilders's conviction is related not only to the terrible injustice done to this MP, but that it was the Netherlands that, for the first time in Europe, criminalized dissenting opinions about Islam.* "I will never be silent. You will not be able to stop me... And that...

More than 26,000 Muslim pupils are enrolled in Catholic schools in England and Wales. For the first time an annual census of Catholic schools has collected information on the number of pupils from other religions. The biggest group of non-Catholic pupils are from other Christian denominations - but almost a tenth are from Muslim families. The government has plans to encourage more Catholic free schools to open. This analysis shows that, overall, nearly a third of the more than 850,000 pupils within the Catholic school system are not Catholic - a total of almost 290,000. Changing populationsThis can reflect local...

Christians returning home to the Syrian town of Al Qaryatayn have said that even though the Islamic State terror group destroyed the monastery of fourth century saint Mar Elian, his relics survived, and will be restored. In Mar Elian, we have always hoped to welcome everyone. Mar Elian was really a sign of hope for the Syrian people," Father Jacques Mourad, a priest who was previously captured by IS, told Catholic News Agency. Everything changed when I was taken hostage. But we can still build something. We must, however, await the end of this war." Mourad said that Mar Elian...
