As hatchet men go, a director of the White House Economic Council odd choice. Isn’t this the kind of thing Rahm Emanuel used to handle? (snip) "Woodward, Politico reported, called the top official — identified to BuzzFeed as Sperling — to tell him that he would question Obama’s account of negotiations leading to the “sequester” — automatic cuts set to take effect next month." "The aide “yelled at me for about a half hour,” Woodward said, and then...

Mike Olien has been planning his first trip to the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show for a year. His Texas-based company, MN Outdoors, planned the roll out for its new clip-on beverage holder when the show opens Feb. 2. MN specializes in duck decoys and hunting camera mounts. Its beverage holder isn't specifically designed for hunters. The company does not sell guns or gun accessories. But the Harrisburg show's new firearm policy has put Olien -- a "lifetime member of anything you can be a lifetime member of," an AR-15 owner and a strong gun control opponent -- in a...

An animal rights group and six members were convicted Thursday of inciting violence against a company that tests drugs and household products on animals. The group, Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty, maintained its actions were protected under the First Amendment guarantee of freedom of speech. The government charged that SHAC waged a five-year campaign of threats, harassment and vandalism against Huntingdon Life Sciences and posted information on the SHAC Web site about the lab's employees and those who do business with Huntingdon. Many of those targeted saw their homes vandalized, and they and their families received threatening e-mails, faxes and phone...

Ben Shapiro was on with Sean Hannity last night to discuss his new book “Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences America” and to list the top five progressive bullies in America today. As a final question, Hannity asked Ben how do conservatives counter the progressive bullies today. Ben answered, “We can’t be civil with them. We can’t. We’ve reached the end of bipartisanship. We’ve reached the end of civility. It’s like the Geneva Conventions. These people are out of uniform. Once they exit the realm of civility they are now fair game. And it’s enough playing...

VATICAN, December 20, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) - Fr. Federico Lombardi, Director of the Vatican Press Office published an editorial Saturday responding to mainstream media denunciations of Pope Benedict’s message for World Day of Peace. In the message, released December 14, the pope noted that “serious harm to justice and peace” comes from denying the true principles of respect for life and promotion of the “natural structure of marriage as the union of a man and a woman.” Lombardi noted that the media storm resulted specifically from the pope’s comments on traditional marriage. “This has happened,” he said, “because the pope, in...

When I wrote yesterday about the liberals coming out against guns, I had no idea just how some people would react. What once would have been unthinkable to blast out into public seems to be becoming more normal via things like Twitter and Facebook. Below are a selection of Tweets that are clearly anti-Second Amendment and even calls for the murder of the National Rifle Association President David Keene, along with NRA members.

This article analyzes the history of labor union violence, and how Rep. Capuano's comments are a perfect continuation of this historical truth. Labor Unions: A History of Murder and Sabotage The New American 28 February 2011 The raging union-led protests in Wisconsin have resulted in many Americans taking a closer, more critical look at labor unions and their political clout and influence in shaping policy. With the ubiquitous announcement from AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka that he is granted an audience at the White House “nearly every day,” the American people have become more skeptical of unions and the role...

Bill Maher on HBO's Real Time Friday might have said one of the most disgraceful things uttered during the 2012 campaign season. "If you're thinking about voting for Mitt Romney, I would like to make this one plea: black people know who you are and they will come after you" Imagine for a moment the outrage if a conservative commentator said even jokingly to Obama supporters, "White people know who you are and they will come after you." That would be the end of that person's career. Period. No questions asked. Done! But Maher who's beloved by the Obama-loving media...

How did we get to where we are in our culture and our politics today? I have wondered this since Obama took office and started exacting his socialist agenda on our great country. There is plenty of blame to go around—complacency, greed, laziness, apathy. I submit that churches may not have caused the problems we have today, but certainly could have curtailed the advancement of tyranny. In my work (my book and The Dr. Gina Show), I have laid out the way that some cowardly pastors have tolerated their flocks’ apathy, greed, complacency and laziness, and that only the pastors...

Now on Fox. Media Matters has been sending to Obama's DOJ the names of people to be investigated for being seditious. Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo has been a consistent supporter of legalizing same-sex marriage. The former Navy SEAL who just wrote a book about the Osama bin Laden raid is in violation of the non-disclosure agreements he signed, the Department of Defense General Counsel said Thursday. General Counsel Jeh Johnson wrote in a letter to "MarkOwen,"the author’s pen name, that by selling his book he aggravates the violation. "We've got to get serious about leaks ofclassifiedinformation,"a senior Defense official told NBC News. "As unpalatable as it may seem to go after this Navy SEAL, if we do nothing there is no deterrence, nothing to prevent others from doing the same."

If you are even slightly awake about the world news today, it is no surprise that Christians are being killed, raped, and brutalized throughout the Islamic world. However, there is a place where you can go to escape the dreadful and relentless details of Christian annihilation by Islam. You can just go to church. For example, Christians were killed this week in Nigeria. Nothing out of the ordinary -- indeed, in the world of Christian persecution, this is routine. And so the response found in nearly every church to the murder of Christians is...wait for it...complete silence. Not a mention...
