Do you remember the request you made last June that your personnel not use the highly partisan term "The Big Lie" to describe skepticism about the conduct of the 2020 election? Well, perhaps you need to emphasize that request again to the Sunday host of CNN's Inside Politics, Abby Phillip, who repeated that phrase you frowned upon not once but twice in just a little over a minute and a half. VIDEO On Sunday's September 29 "Inside Politics," host John King completely overlooked what should have been a YUUUUUGE political story, namely that Mayor Pete Buttigieg has ZERO percent black support in South Carolina (and probably elsewhere). So how did he miss such a big story? Probably because he was almost totally focused on an impeachment fable based on second hand whistleblower information (i.e. RUMOR). Congratulations, John King, for allowing impeachment fever to completely blind you to what should have been a very significant political story.

Along with Jim AcostaÂ’s near-daily antics, Wednesday and Thursday served as another example of how far too many at CNN need to be told to get a life. ThursdayÂ’s Inside Politics led off with more kvetching about every aspect of President Donald TrumpÂ’s surprise visit to U.S. troops in Germany and Iraq, including how he didnÂ’t meet with the Iraqi Prime Minister. While there have been only a smattering of climate change references since Hurricane Harvey took over news cycles, CNN and MSNBC featured more shameful exploitations of the hurricane on Monday to promote climate change as thousands were in need of help from rising flood waters. Perhaps most notably, one New York Times writer on MSNBC knocked the President, questioning his motives for recovery efforts, and used climate change to make a class argument that the poor and especially poor Trump voters are disproportionately going to be targeted by it. Claims public ‘doesn’t support private accounts,’ but facts show otherwise. Even as President Bush endorsed a new Social Security plan that didn’t focus on personal accounts, poor coverage of the reform issue continued. This time, it was CNN’s Ed Henry claiming that people don’t support personal accounts even though that isn’t the case. According to Henry, on the June 21, 2005, “Inside Politics,” “We see polls across the board saying that the public by and large doesn’t support private accounts.” Henry didn’t cite any of the polls showing this overwhelming opposition. Major outlets ignore Democratic Congressman’s Social Security proposal that would raise the payroll tax.The major media have largely ignored a Democratic tax increase proposal launched this week that would place new tax burdens on workers and employers. NBC, CBS, The New York Times and The Washington Post ignored or glossed over the first Social Security plan from a Democrat, who declared that raising the payroll tax would bail out the system. Rep.
