Lindsey Lowe is a 25 year old woman who is now behind bars because she killed her twins only a minute after each was born on September 12. The babies were given birth to in...

WARSAW (ChurchMilitant.com) - After a baby in Poland born after two botched abortion attempts was allowed to die after screaming for an hour, a national debate has re-opened over whether abortion should be banned in the country. Witnesses say an abortion performed March 7 at Holy Family Hospital in Warsaw resulted in the birth of a live 24-week baby, who was left to scream in agony for an hour until he died. Personnel did not help the child in any way. After the baby survived the administration of abortifacients on Friday, the doctor induced birth on Sunday, leaving the unborn...

As we come to the end of Black History month, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King is encouraging everyone to vote for candidates who oppose abortion and the Planned Parenthood agenda. Dr. Alveda King, the niece of civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King said in a written statement that not voting is not an option for her because too many people paid a heavy price for that right: “Not voting is not an option. Too many people in the suffragette and race wars in the U.S. (including my dad Rev. AD King, my uncle, ML King, and yes,...

It was unmistakably clear on Wednesday that the Supreme Court’s first close look at abortion rights in nine years will turn on the reaction of Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, and there were at least sturdy hints that he would lead the Court in one of two directions. In an intense argument in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt that ran twenty-six minutes longer than scheduled, Kennedy seemed poised to find a way out of a four-to-four split — if the initial vote comes to that — or to strike down by a narrow vote the two restrictions at issue in the...

Did you hear about the new bill that California Gov. Jerry Brown has signed into law? ....The bill...named the Reproductive Fact Act, aims to punish pro-life pregnancy centers, which offer women and girls compassionate alternatives to abortion. Under penalty of ruinous fines for every "violation," the law orders the pro-life centers to post notices and tell mothers that they can abort their babies and have California taxpayers foot the bill via the state's expansive Medi-Cal program.

Chelsea Clinton says she left a pro-life Baptist church when she was six years old because they taught her about abortion. The 35-year-old reportedly said she was tired of critics questioning her family's religion during a recent fundraiser for Hillary Clinton. "I find it quite insulting sometimes when people say to my mom, my dad or me that they question our faith," Clinton said. "I was raised in a Methodist church and I left the Baptist church before my dad did because I didn't know why they were talking to me about abortion when I was 6 in Sunday School....

Only humorless progressives could twist anything, including an innocent commercial for corn chips, into a vicious political statement. The kill-joys over at the pro-abortion group, NARAL Pro-Choice America, were up in arms over the popular Super Bowl ad for Doritos (featured above) because apparently it "humanizes" fetuses. Yes. The group actually posted that comment to its official Twitter feed. Progressives have, once again, proven what a dour, nasty lot it truly is. It's safe to assume that the last thing on any sane person's mind watching that commercial was whether Doritos was pushing a pro-life message and not just corn-chips...

Last week, a Texas grand jury indicted activists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt for allegedly using fake IDs and attempting to buy fetal tissue. Both of the Center for Medical Progress, the pair concealed their identities while attempting to frame/highlight the willingness of Planned Parenthood employees to sell fetal tissue... ....a breathtaking example of government hypocrisy. The situation facing CMP is evidence of the upside-down understanding of right and wrong in our culture..... ....why, as citizen journalists, Daleiden and Merritt are not protected by the same laws that have shielded countless of their fellow reporters down through the years. Undercover...

Late today a Texas grand jury found no case against PP for selling baby parts; they did indite the producers of the video for unlawfully viewing a government form. Megyn Kelly of Fox news was the source for me. Background is that pro life Gov.of Texas appointed the prosecutor, in the case, to find if an indictment of PP could be found AGAINST them for selling baby parts. Instead the Producers were indicted! This cannot happen by accident. Even if a grand jury would not find an intictment against PP, a separate action would have to be prosecuted by the...

The Center for Medical Progress uses the same undercover techniques that investigative journalists have used for decades in exercising our First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and of the press, and follows all applicable laws. We respect the processes of the Harris County District Attorney, and note that buying fetal tissue requires a seller as well. Planned Parenthood still cannot deny the admissions from their leadership about fetal organ sales captured on video for all the world to see.

Historians have a favorite saying: "The past is like a foreign country." When we travel there, we meet people who think and act very differently. We return home with a new perspective, recognizing how much we take for granted, how much is far from inevitable. For a powerful illustration of this truth, look no further than Daniel K. Williams's masterful new book, Defenders of the Unborn: The Pro-Life Movement before Roe v. Wade (Oxford University Press). When readers turn the final page, they may feel like they have visited not just a different country, but a different universe.

President Barack Obama issued a statement today, celebrating the 43rd anniversary of the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that declared abortion a constitutionally protected right. "Today, we mark the 43rd anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade, which affirmed a woman's freedom to make her own choices about her body and her health," said Obama. In a report issued last week, the National Right to Life Committee estimated that there have been 58,586,256 abortions in the United States since Roe v. Wade. The NRLC's estimate is based on data published by the Guttmacher Institute and...

It has become sadly unoriginal for abortion doctors to use religion as an excuse for killing unborn babies. Mississippi abortion doctor Willie Parker regularly defends his abortion practice with religious references, claiming his abortion career is "a ministry" and the parable of the Good Samaritan inspired him to abort unborn babies. Young abortion doctor-in-training Carolyn Payne also recently wrote a column, claiming that her Christian faith motivated her to pursue a career as an abortionist. And in November, pro-lifers in Chicago filmed an unnamed abortionist as she knelt and prayed on the sidewalk, thanking God that she can abort unborn...

With little fanfare and as expected, today President Obama vetoed H.R.3762, the “Restoring Americans’ Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act of 2015″ sent to him by Congress earlier this week. The legislation would have repealed key provisions of Obamacare and restricted the availability of federal funding for Planned Parenthood. Among other things, the bill would have ended federal funding for Planned Parenthood for the next fiscal year, ended the IRS-collected penalty on taxpayers who do not carry government mandated health insurance, eased restrictions on health savings accounts and modified or removed many federal health insurance mandates on small businesses and state agencies....

Ilyse Hogue, president of the abortion advocacy group NARAL Pro-Choice America, derided pro-life activists David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress and Troy Newman of Operation Rescue after they condemned the Friday shootings at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood.Hogue implied that the shooting was a consequence of their pro-life work, saying that while they had freedom of speech, they “are not free from the judgment of the consequences of your hate-filled rhetoric.â€Â “Sorry, David Daleiden. You don't get to create fake videos and accuse abortion providers of ‘barbaric atrocities against humanity’ one day and act shocked when someone shoots to kill...

All Madison Gesiotto wanted to do when she met with the dean of her law school was report a threat prompted by a newspaper column she wrote pointing out the high abortion rate in the black community. She assumed the meeting would last 10 minutes. Instead, she said, she was there for about an hour as three deans at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law critiqued her on what they saw as problems with her Oct. 23 column in The Washington Times, “The number one killer of black Americans.â€

A mother lies hospitalized in critical condition after the father of her twin baby girls shot them to death in her arms, and then killed the woman’s dad, according to her family. Ultimately, Gawain Rushane Wilson turned the weapon on himself and died at the scene, authorities said. The carnage took place in the Jacksonville, Florida, home of Travis Hiatt, the twin’s grandfather. His daughter, Megan, and her five-month-old girls Hayden and Kayden, had been living with him, authorities said, according to local reports. Wilson allegedly entered the home and forced his estranged girlfriend to pick up the babies. “He...
