The National Enquirer reports in a bombshell story that police have investigated charges from two more female massage therapists who claimed they were abused by Gore. The allegations come on the heels of an ongoing Portland, Ore., police investigation that reopened after the supermarket tabloid recently revealed accusations by a licensed massage therapist who says Gore groped her four years ago. The first new incident allegedly took place at a Beverly Hills luxury hotel when Gore, 62, was in Hollywood to attend the Oscars in 2007. The second allegedly occurred a year later at a Tokyo hotel.

A lot has happened since Newsweek's Nov. 9 cover story -- mostrecently the retraction of Al Gore's rising-seas scenario. Climate Fraud: The godfather of climate hysteria is in hiding as another of his wild claims unravels — this one about global warming causing seas to swallow us up. We've not seen or heard much of the former vice president, Oscar winner and Nobel Prize recipient recently as the case for disastrous man-made climate change collapses. Perhaps he's off reading how scientists were forced to withdraw a study on a projected sea level rise due to global warming after finding two...

The CIA briefed four Congressional leaders, including Nancy Pelosi, on the controversial practice of waterboarding over five years ago. Not only did no one object to the practice during the September 2002 briefing, but one attendee asked the briefer whether the technique was tough enough: In September 2002, four members of Congress met in secret for a first look at a unique CIA program designed to wring vital information from reticent terrorism suspects in U.S. custody. For more than an hour, the bipartisan group, which included current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), was given a virtual tour of the CIA's...
  • Not Enough Parking for Private Jets Going to UN Climate Conference [seriously]

As climate alarmists from all over the world head to Bali to talk about the sacrifices regular folks have to make to save the planet from global warming, it seems certain media will ignore all the private jets clogging the tiny airport. As if it’s not enough that the United Nations Climate Change Conference is being held at what NewsBusters reported as "a truly beautiful tropical island paradise," the management of the nearby airport has issued a warning to attendees that they are going to have to park their private jets somewhere else. I kid you not. As reported by...

LONDON - Some of the assertions in Al Gore's Oscar-winning environmental documentary are not supported by scientific evidence, a British judge said in ruling on a challenge from a school official who did not want the film shown to students. The ruling was published Wednesday and it detailed High Court Judge Michael Burton's decision this month to allow film showings to go ahead in English secondary schools. But the judge said that written guidance to teachers designed to ensure Gore's views are not presented uncritically must accompany the showings. Burton said he had no doubt the points raised in "An...
  • The Inconvenient Truths About Gas Prices

Few politicians can resist the urge to exploit consumer angst over gasoline prices, and thereby deflect where the blame certainly lies — with them. Here are 10 things the politicians won’t tell you: 1. At over $3.00 a gallon, the U.S. inflation-adjusted price for gasoline in May 2007 is now less than it was in 1981, a remarkable decrease in price over a 25 year period during which real prices in other sectors, such as health and education have tripled and quadrupled. 2. This decline in the price of gasoline since 1981 is enjoyed almost exclusively in the U.S. In...
  • Al Gore's Media Lovefest ( Belies grades of D's and C-minus )

John Lennon once wrote that "All you need is love." If that's the case, former presidential candidate Al Gore is a happy man. He is in the middle of a media lovefest celebrating his work, his career - even his efforts as actor, author, dancer and comedian. The former vice president has both a movie and a book about global warming debuting under the title "An Inconvenient Truth." He has gone from media darling to "the summer's most unlikely movie star," as NBC's Katie Couric called him in a May 24 interview. Gore, who Couric also called "funny, vulnerable, disarming,...
