A man suspected of gunning down a Queens imam and his friend outside a mosque was taken into custody Sunday night by cops who believe the killer was an experienced shooter, sources said. An NYPD Regional Fugitive Task Force was doing “brief surveillance” on a suspect in Queens when he rammed an unmarked cop car, sources said. He was taken into custody for questioning, according to the sources. Police officials could not confirm whether a suspect was in custody.
