The United Sates was founded by immigrants. Generation after generation of immigrants came here to escape oppression, war, violence and to seek a better life. Both those immigrants, and the citizens that live here, don’t want the evils and problems that they left behind to follow them here. The laws of our nation have kept those concerns at bay. Yet now, politicians who only care about clinging to power and making a name for themselves (from both parties, by the way), seem to show little concern who is entering the country. If you want border control or background checks, you’re...

Yesterday news broke Department of Homeland Security officials are encouraging employees to work expensive overtime hours to push through as many U.S. citizenship applications as possible before the November election. An internal Obama administration email shows immigration officials may be literally working overtime to swear in as many new “citizen voters” as possible before the Nov. 8 presidential election, a powerful lawmaker charged Thursday. The email, from a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services field office chief and part of a chain of correspondence within the agency, urges the unnamed recipient to swear in as many citizens as possible “due to the...

Bolstering Donald Trump's pledge to build a wall and deport criminal illegals, a former Mexican foreign secretary said that there are "many ways" the Republican presidential candidate, if elected, can get Mexico to pay for the wall and deport four million immigrants. "The wall is a perfectly feasible promise to fulfill," said Jorge Castañeda, Mexico's secretary of foreign affairs from 2000 to 2003. Dismissing a Mexican Senate move to block federal payments to a Trump administration for the wall as "silly," Castañeda offered up several ways for Trump to find the money. "If he really wants Mexicans to pay for...

The email, from a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services field office chief and part of a chain of correspondence within the agency, urges the unnamed recipient to swear in as many citizens as possible “due to the election year.” “The Field Office due to the election year needs to process as many of their N-400 cases as possible between now and FY 2016,” reads the email,...

(CNSNews.com) - The director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Thursday defended her agency’s decision to return $113 million in funds allocated for the detention and removal of illegal immigrants in FY 2015. “Your organization operates with limited resources, and yet, in fiscal year 2015, you gave back to the Department of Homeland Security $113 million in funds that were specifically appropriated for detention and removal. Why did you give this money back given the problems that were decided by Mr. Smith and the fact as Mr. Conyers noted you have limited resources to begin with?” House Judiciary Chairman...

On Thursday, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will release its report on “The Economic and Fiscal Consequences of Immigration.” According to the report, first generation immigrants as a group increase the nation’s fiscal deficit. In other words, the government benefits they receive exceed the taxes paid. The National Academies’ report provides 75-year fiscal projections for new immigrants and their descendants. The fiscal impact varies greatly according to the education level of the immigrant. Low-skill immigrants are shown to impose substantial fiscal costs that extend far into the future. The future government benefits they will receive greatly exceed...

The U.S. government has mistakenly granted citizenship to at least 858 immigrants from countries of concern to national security or with high rates of immigration fraud who had pending deportation orders, according to an internal Homeland Security audit released Monday. The Homeland Security Department’s inspector general found that the immigrants used different names or birthdates to apply for citizenship with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and such discrepancies weren’t caught because their fingerprints were missing from government databases.

The real number of people who got citizenship instead of deportation from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is more than double what the media initially reported, a footnote in the report reveals. More than 1,800 people who were supposed to be deported were mistakenly granted citizenship, the footnote discovered by CNN’s Jake Tapper in the DHS Inspector General report shows. That’s more than double the 858 number initially reported by the media. The report focuses on the use of digital fingerprinting by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which may explain why the 1,800 number was buried. The IG report...

Remember when the 9/11 Commission and Congress insisted on conglomerating several bureaucracies into the Department of Homeland Security for efficiency? Keep that in mind when reading about the latest lowlight in government competence from DHS, courtesy of the Associated Press. Not only did the massive Cabinet department fail to coordinate properly on tracking over 800 illegal immigrants, many of whom had outstanding deportation warrants, they gave them American citizenship. And guess where many originated? The U.S. government has mistakenly granted citizenship to at least 858 immigrants from countries of concern to national security or with high rates of immigration fraud...

On Saturday, Republican nominee Donald Trump addressed the American families victimized by open borders that have been “forced into the shadows” by both establishment politicians and media elites. “Help is coming,” Trump told the angel families, assuring them that “their loved ones will not have died in vain.” At a Saturday luncheon hosted by the Remembrance Project, a group that represents the American victims of illegal alien crime, Trump honored the “stolen American lives” and pledged to “advocate for justice on behalf of all American victims.”

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump spoke Saturday afternoon in Houston at The Remembrance Project National Conference Luncheon, appearing with families of victims of crimes committed by undocumented immigrants. "Every day our border remains open, innocent Americans are needlessly victimized and killed. Every day sanctuary cities are left in place, innocent Americans are put in harm's way," Trump said to thunderous applause. The event at the Omni Westside was only for an invited crowd but those who couldn't go in made their voices heard outside.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump vowed to end illegal immigration and to enforce laws he says will save a thousand future victims from crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

Turns out Barack Obama isn’t all that against building a border wall to keep out illegals after all. Thing is, he wants illegals to enter America, he’s just not okay with them entering Mexico. Looks like the U.S. is giving our neighbors to the south $75 million so they can build their own wall to protect themselves from Central American invaders. From Conservative Tribune: One of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s talking points in his campaign has that he wants to protect our borders. He wants to secure the American people from the dangers of illegal immigration and strengthen those...

A group of illegal alien high school students staged a protest to demand access to a scholarship that would grant them a free ride through college. The current and former Guilford County high school students gathered outside of the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center in North Carolina on Tuesday where the "Say Yes College Fair" was taking place, WFMY reported. The scholarship provides free tuition for in state public universities and colleges, but students must fill out a FAFSA form which requires the student to be a legal U.S. citizen.

How to deal with approximately 11 million illegal immigrants in this country is no double the hot campaign issue in 2016 and likely will determine the outcome of this presidential race. The Democrats insist the only way to move forward is to grant illegal immigrants a path to citizenship. That is a simple but false solution because it isn't supported by historical facts as well as what incentivized illegal immigrants to be here to begin with. First, let's review the historical facts. According to the Pew Research Center, in the 1990s, only 38% of legal immigrants became naturalized U.S. citizens....
