The House of Representatives will vote today, Tuesday, at 5 pm on whether to hold former head of tax exempt groups at the IRS Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress. Lerner was voted in contempt by the House Oversight Committee back in April after failing to answer questions from lawmakers. Many argue Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights last year because she made an opening statement declaring her innocence before claiming she wanted to remain silent.

BEAVER, Pa. – A widow was given ample notice before her $280,000 house was sold at a tax auction three years ago over $6.30 in unpaid interest, a Pennsylvania judge has ruled. The decision last week turned down Eileen Battisti's request to reverse the September 2011 sale of her home outside Aliquippa in western Pennsylvania. HOUSTON - More than 100 immigrants were found at a suspected stash house in south Harris County, according to the Houston Police Department..... Police say a total of 94 men and 14 women were discovered, including one pregnant woman who was taken to a hospital for treatment. The Cummings/Issa feud is the showdown that keeps on giving. Democrats faced off with Republicans on the House floor, protesting GOP Rep. Darrell Issa's diss of Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings last week.
