Former Governor Chuck Robb’s Virginia mansion went up in flames late Tuesday night. Firefighters arrived at the two-alarm fire on the 600 block of Chain Bridge Road in McLean, Va. at 11:30 p.m. The fire had spread throughout the home’s first floor. Two people escaped the home and were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

Washington D.C. police issued an arrest warrant late Wednesday for a suspect in the murder of a corporate executive, his wife, their 10-year-old son, and a family housekeeper in their home last week. The suspect is named as 34-year-old Daron Dylan Wint. He is charged with first-degree murder while armed. Police told the Washington Post that Wint is a native of Maryland, and they did not know his whereabouts.

Police positively identified two of the four people found dead inside a burning Northwest D.C. home Thursday as a prominent and well-liked husband and wife who lived at the residence. Police said the two victims were Savvas Savopoulos, the president of a local construction company and his wife, Amy. The mysterious deaths of four people found in a burning house in Northwest Washington on Thursday afternoon prompted police to ask the public for help in investigating what they called a highly suspicious fire. Police said that three adults and a child, whose identities were not released, were found on the second floor of a home on Woodland Drive NW, just north of the vice president’s residence at the U.S. Naval Observatory.
