A Lake Butler man was critically injured Friday morning when a car coming from the opposite direction on State Road 121 north of Gainesville hit a deer, sending the animal careening through the man's windshield and out the truck's rear window, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. FRANKLIN, Pa. -- Pennsylvania police said a man who died after being struck by a vehicle may have been left on a roadside for days because his body was apparently mistaken for a dead deer. The man was found on Monday by a motorist, who at first thought the man was a deer because of tan clothing and snow that covered part of his body. The motorist realized the man wasn't a deer after noticing his shoes.

Researchers at the University of Missouri have mounted wireless video cameras on white-tailed deer to get a better idea of how the animals see their world and what's behind their behavior.
