  • The end of Hillary Clinton as we’ve known her

    MSNBC ^ | March 22, 2915 | Alex Seitz-Wald
Since Hillary Clinton stepped down as secretary of state in February of 2013, she’s done more or the less the same thing every week: Give speeches, collect awards, promote her book and charitable projects, and coyly dodge questions about whether she’ll run for president in 2016. That all changes today. Monday marks the last day that Clinton, who tends to plan appearances months in advance, has any public appearances on her calendar. It’s the end of Clinton as we’ve known her. The next time she emerges publicly, Clinton is likely to be a candidate for president.
  • Report: Clinton emailed aides’ private accounts about Benghazi

    The Hill ^ | March 23, 2015 | By Ben Kamisar
Hillary Clinton emailed with her top advisers at the State Department about the 2012 attacks in Benghazi on their own personal emails, despite repeated assurances that she contacted employees on their official addresses, The New York Times is reporting. Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills and Deputy Chief of Staff Jake Sullivan, as well as senior aides Huma Abedin and Philippe Reines, all occasionally emailed Clinton with personal email addresses of their own, the newspaper reported. The news comes as Clinton continues to face controversy related to her exclusive use of a private email address while at the State Department. Clinton's...

Hillary Clinton says that she is the most transparent woman in American politics. There's just one problem - Hillary Clinton lies... a lot. Ben Shapiro takes a trip in the way back machine to look at a few of the more egregious examples. TRANSCRIPT: Hillary Clinton is the most transparent woman she knows. She said so in 2008: I think I’m probably the most transparent person in public life…I feel you know a lot more about me than you know about anyone else. Much of it untrue, but nevertheless, it’s all out there. Unfortunately, Hillary is a liar. When news...
  • Update: Clinton’s e-mail is on a hosted Exchange 2010 server, not in Chappaqua

It has been stated publicly many times that Mrs. Bill Clinton used a private email server based in her Chappaqua house instead of a secure government server. Information about what is on it now shows it running Outlook from a Microsoft Exchange 2010 server. This article provides more technical details concerning the account and what some of its vulnerabilities appear to be.
  • CNN/ORC Poll: Hillary Clinton Maintains Double-Digit Lead Over All Republican Hopefuls Surveyed

    townhall.com ^ | March 22, 2015 | Daniel Doherty
Email-gate may have dominated the headlines over the past few weeks, but evidently the scandal hasn’t trickled down to the grassroots level—at least not yet. And perhaps it never will. To wit, a newish CNN/ORC poll, which conducted head-to-head hypothetical matchups between Hillary Clinton and all the leading presumptive Republican hopefuls, is anything but positive news for the GOP. Though Jeb Bush (16 percent) leads the pack of Republicans, no candidate even comes close to defeating Hillary Clinton one-on-one (via Bill Kristol): …none of the top candidates in this field gets within 10 points of Hillary Clinton in a series...
  • Boston Globe Editorial to Sen. Warren: Run for President, Please

DEMOCRATS WOULD be making a big mistake if they let Hillary Clinton coast to the presidential nomination without real opposition, and, as a national leader, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren can make sure that doesn’t happen. While Warren has repeatedly vowed that she won’t run for president herself, she ought to reconsider. And if Warren sticks to her refusal, she should make it her responsibility to help recruit candidates to provide voters with a vigorous debate on her signature cause, reducing income inequality, over the next year. Editor’s Note: This excerpt, from a book by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, first appeared on the left-wing site Salon. We reprint in part here.  Hillary tapped Kris Balderston, the hit list author, to keep the Clinton political network humming at State. A longtime lieutenant to both Clintons, Balderston, who called everyone “buddy,” liked to talk in salesman’s terms about Hillary’s “power to convene” and her commitment to making sure her partners could “do well by doing good.” What he meant was that Hillary could use the Clinton Rolodex to focus private-sector money, government power, and the expertise at colleges and...

Back in the Arad penitentiary, I ask Lehel about his heyday. Was it worth it? “I had memos Hillary Clinton got as a State Secretary, with CIA briefings. These were being read by her, two other people from the US Government, and Guccifer. I used to read her memos for six-seven hours and then I’d get up and do the gardening in the yard,” he says.

The country needs fresh faces, not exhausted familial dynasties like the Clintons and the Bushes. Unlike the Democrats, the GOP really does have a strong bench this electoral season, especially once you get past a hopeless Rinosaur like Jeb Bush, fringe candidates like Rand Paul and no-hoper retreads like Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum, Wisconsin’s Scott Walker has already made an impressive splash; now Texas conservative firebrand Ted Cruz may be ready to throw his hat into the ring: Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is set to deliver a speech on Monday at Liberty University that is stirring speculation about a...

    The Aspen Daily News ^ | March 21, 2015 | Stanley Crouch
It is beginning to seem as though the rush beyond judgment is tilting against a Hillary Clinton presidential choice; “too much baggage” is usually the explanation. Part of what is still to be done is removing factoids from influential power, what Hillary Clinton once correctly called “a vast right-wing conspiracy.” That’s more than a mouthful. I once observed: “When she testified last week for seven hours before the congressional committee and was not swayed by the nipping of rubber teeth attempting to wound, I thought of seeing her in person at an unannounced appearance following Nelson Mandela 10 years or...

Greetings from Exeter, New Hampshire on this snowy March morning! In keeping with the New Hampshire way of letting everyone make up their own mind about things, I won’t be giving detailed opinions about the candidates for President in 2016 at this point. Instead I intend to give you a quick look at the most memorable points I’ve gleaned about each candidate thus far, then I will leave it to you the New Hampshire Primary voter to get out there and go to some house parties and town meetings, and find out for yourselves what these people are about. Just...
  • Clinton Foundation's chickens coming home to roost in Haiti?

    American Thinker ^ | 03/21/2015 | Thomas Lifson
It has always been apparent to me that the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation was a poorly disguised vehicle for bribery, kickbacks, and political operations, all under the guise of tax-deductible fundraising.  A veneer of do-gooderism, adopting popular racially correct causes like AIDS treatment and relief for Haitians, would suffice to denounce any queries into the real nature of the money pot as harming sacred victim groups. But somehow or other, the usual Clinton immunity has worn off – perhaps because, as Ed Klein alleges, the Obama machine is covertly sabotaging Hillary’s attempt to seize back control of...

The likely 2016 presidential candidate who believes it takes a village to raise a child is now proposing “camps for adults.” Hillary Clinton is worried about America’s “fun deficit,” not our deficit-deficit, and told a group gathered for a speech that “We really need camps for adults.”

In her memoir Hard Choices, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton praised her own work and that of the State Department in securing the departure of threatened dissident Chen Guangcheng from China. Chen, now in Washington, D.C., disputes this version in his own memoir, in which he laments pressure by Clinton’s State Department to trust the Chinese Communist Party– so much pressure that “I no longer felt that they were on my side.”

As Hillary Rodham Clinton moves closer to making her campaign for president official, she now faces a deepening polarization among Jewish Democrats over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and how the United States should deal with his government.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s victory in this week’s Israeli elections has reverberated through U.S. politics, reinforcing Republican faith in the political wisdom of a hawkish foreign policy, worsening his already bad relationship with President Obama and energizing liberal critics of Israel’s government. But mostly it has complicated the life of Hillary Rodham Clinton. As she moves closer to making her campaign for president...

It was less than two weeks ago that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton assured the nation that her “homebrew” email server was safely secure in her home in Chappaqua, New York. She insisted that the hardware was fortified behind a locked door and had a Secret Service detail mentoring it night and day, as though the greatest security threat that system faced was via a physical attack by a team of cartoonish cat burglars. Nevertheless, Clinton insisted that the safeguards around the email system she constructed out of “convenience” were “effective and secure.” She added that “there were no...

BY: Washington Free Beacon Staff March 20, 2015 8:27 am Haitian activists protested outside of the Clinton Foundation in New York over the loss of “billions of dollars” that was meant to help rebuild after the devastating 2010 earthquake. The activists are claiming the money was stolen through the Haiti Reconstruction Commission that was headed by Bill Clinton. In January 2015, the Clinton Foundation was the target of protests for wasting more than $10 billion and awarding contracts to non-Haitian companies. The activists also said Haiti as a cover for foreign governments to funnel kickbacks of hundreds of millions of...
