Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif said Sunday that the Iranian government has worked closely with billionaire George Soros' Open Society Foundations (OSF) organization. Zarif made the remarks in response to questions raised in the Iranian parliament. According to Zarif, the activity began before he entered his current position, and he boasted that he had succeeded in "keeping the activity organized." OSF has funded a number of far-left organizations in Israel which seek to change the policy of Israel's government.

What follows is a lovely object lesson – one for the books, really – showcasing the blind, unreasoning hatred of a media talking head toward President Donald Trump. Earlier this week, ESPN’s Max Kellerman saw fit to publicly denigrate golf great Tiger Woods for his refusal to become enrolled in the political left’s campaign of calumny and invective aimed at Trump. Apparently, Woods was asked on Sunday after the final round of The Northern Trust tournament about his relationship with Trump. As it happens, Woods and Trump have played golf together on more than a few occasions. In response to...

The American Left is stoking hatred and it’s tearing us apart. Our media is guilty of not only of failing to shame those responsible, in many cases they egg them on, giving them a platform. The volume of irrational hatred spewing into our ether is extremely unhealthy, even dangerous for our republic and the broader American culture.

Fox News anchor Shannon Bream had a sudden change of plans on the night of President Donald Trump‘s historic announcement of his Supreme Court nominee. Earlier on Monday night, Trump nominated D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Brett Kavanaugh to fill the soon-to-be-vacant seat of Justice Anthony Kennedy, who announced his retirement last month. After the big primetime reveal by the president, Bream had planned on doing a live show from outside the steps of the Supreme Court. But her plans were scuttled thanks to protests near her broadcast location.

For several decades, a few black scholars have been suggesting that the vision held by many black Americans is entirely wrong. Dr. Shelby Steele, a scholar at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, said: “Instead of admitting that racism has declined, we (blacks) argue all the harder that it is still alive and more insidious than ever. We hold race up to shield us from what we do not want to see in ourselves.” Dr. John McWhorter, professor of English and comparative literature at Columbia University, lamented that “victimology, separatism, and anti-intellectualism underlie the general black community’s response to all race-related issues,”...

Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam movement, appears to have changed his opinion of Donald Trump since two years ago, when he warned black Americans: “If Donald Trump becomes president, he will take America into the abyss of hell.” Appearing on Chicago radio station WGCI, on a program titled “The Morning Takeover,” he stated that it may not have been the intent of this administration to help, but that Trump is destroying the enemies of the Nation of Islam. Included in this group are the Department of Justice and the FBI. So far, there has been barely a...

Southern Poverty Law Center is regarded by many journalists as the gold standard for information on hate groups. But its record is dotted with inconsistencies—it has itself engaged in hateful discourse against some traditionally minded organizations: branding the Family Research Council a hate group is one glaring example. Not as well known are its more subtle ways of emitting bias. SPLC issued a statement about a federal court judge’s decision against Matt Hale, an imprisoned neo-Nazi who sued the Federal Bureau of Prisons for violating his religious rights; prison facilities monitored his mail ~ U.S. District Judge Marcia Krieger of...

Human activities are causing an alarming decline in the variety of plant and animal life on Earth and jeopardizing food, clean water and energy supplies, a U.N.-backed study of biodiversity said on Friday. Pollution, climate change and forest clearances to make way for farmland were among the worsening threats to nature, according to more than 550 experts in a set of reports approved by 129 governments after talks in Colombia. “Biodiversity, the essential variety of life-forms on earth, continues to decline in every region of the world,” the authors wrote. “This alarming trend endangers the quality of life of people...

My brother expressed his disgust watching an animated TV show trashing Trump, titled Our Cartoon President. Incredibly, leftists have hijacked the airwaves and everywhere people gather to exploit as platforms to spread their vitriolic, insane hatred for Trump. Outrageously, TV coverage of the Olympics included leftist hatred for the Trump administration. Despite the shocking discovery that leftist policies probably played a role in the deaths of 17 kids in the Florida school shooting, leftists continue puppet-mastering students to blame Trump. Even Sunday worship has been hijacked by leftists to trash Trump. My brother asked the pastor of his all black...

CNN's town hall political takedown of the Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment -- in response to the tragic murders at a Florida school -- has been wrongly described by some conservatives as an Orwellian Two Minutes Hate. So, those who called it CNN's Two Minutes Hate should publicly admit how wrong they were. Because it went on for much longer than two minutes, didn't it? It went on and on and on, and from the earliest moments it became clear that this wasn't a reasonable discussion about complicated policy and the Bill of Rights. This was all about...

Team USA bobsledder Nate Weber has been soaking in his last few days in PyeongChang, South Korea, with his family. Yet photos of Weber — an active-duty U.S. Army Green Beret — with his family spending time with Ivanka Trump has drawn some negative attention on social media, and Weber wasn’t having it. Trump, who is leading the U.S. delegation at the Closing Ceremony, and press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders watched Weber compete in the men’s bobsled finals with his family. Sarah Sanders Green Beret @NateWeberActual holds up his two daughters after competing in Men’s bobsled finals. Thank you for...

The number of U.S. hate groups expanded last year under President Donald Trump, fueled by his immigration stance and the perception that he sympathized with those espousing white supremacy, the Southern Poverty Law Center said on Wednesday

A Gallup Poll released this past Friday found that First Lady Melania Trump is viewed favorably by 54 percent of Americans. That amounts to a remarkable 17 percent improvement since January, which the pollster attributes to Mrs. Trump becoming “better known in her role as first lady.” But I think there’s another factor Gallup has completely overlooked – the grace with which the First Lady, a committed Christ follower, has evinced in the face of unrelenting attacks from haters, many of whom are members of the so-called Fourth Estate, who think no attack too vile or too petty. Indeed, at...

Ray Lewis has added an interesting new twist to the ongoing question of why Colin Kaepernick isn’t playing for the Baltimore Ravens right now. In Lewis’s words, Kaepernick’s girlfriend is the problem. Speaking on Showtime’s “Inside the NFL,” Lewis discussed conversations he and Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti had regarding Kaepernick. “We were talking about giving this kid an opportunity to get back in the National Football League,” Lewis said. “I have been fighting for this kid behind the table like nobody has … I’ve never been against Colin Kaepernick. But I am against the way he’s done it.” Bisciotti said...

An explosive confrontation erupted at San Diego’s Chicano Park Sunday afternoon as an angry mob of several hundred protested a pro-Donald Trump group’s decision to hold a ‘Patriot Picnic’ in the symbolic public space. According to the San Diego Union Tribune: The tense exchange happened as fewer than a dozen activists gathered for an event they called the Patriot Picnic. The group planned to eat lunch at the Barrio Logan park before taking a tour of the murals, said Roger Ogden, one of the organizers. Meet On Tuesday Vogue magazine contributing supervisor Lynn Yaeger took shallow swipes at First Lady Melania Trump in the (socially world) wake of Hurricane Harvey. Yaeger, an asserted form master, was exasperates by the Tropical storm Stilettos Mrs. Trump wore on her approach to help the casualties of Houston, however Yaeger herself begrudgingly conceded the First Lady would change into tennis shoes when she touched down in the attacked state. At the beginning of today, Mrs. Trump boarded Air Force One wearing a couple of transcending pointy-toed snakeskin heels more qualified to a shopping evening on Madison Avenue or a...

Tim Cook, J.P. Morgan, and George and Amal Clooney should realize that some[i] of the millions they are donating to the Southern Poverty Law Center is going to end up in the Cayman Islands or other offshore secrecy havens. The SPLC is a big business that raises far more than it spends, and is building up assets in places that offer secrecy as a marketing point. We know this thanks to some admirable (and often tedious) digging through publicly available documents filed with the IRS by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Joe Schoffstall of the Free Beacon deserves much credit:...
