Cobb County police have arrested and charged a suspect in the fatal shooting of a college student following a road rage incident in Kennesaw early Friday morning. Police identified the suspect as Sparkles Lindsey, 22, of Austell. Cobb jail records, however, identify her as Lindsey Sparkles Lashayla. She has been charged with murder and aggravated assault and is being held in the Cobb jail. Police say Lashayla fatally shot Kim Kilgore, 21, with a handgun in the parking lot at the Shiloh Green Apartments off Shiloh Road. A 19-year-old St. Paul man is charged after a woman had her iPhone stolen and was then held down and urinated on. According to the criminal complaint, the woman was approached by a silver-colored vehicle with four black men wearing wigs around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. GREENVILLE (AP) — A man who shot four people near a Greenville Wal-Mart in June picked out his victims because they were white, according to several indictments handed down against him. Lakim Faust had more than 100 rounds of ammunition when he started shooting at people at a law firm and a shopping center in June, authorities said.

A group of more than 20 young men viciously attacked a Columbia University professor over the weekend, apparently because they believed he was a Muslim. WASHINGTON - A Virginia man who had planned to shoot people at a conservative Washington lobbying group and then rub Chick-fil-A sandwiches in his victims’ faces was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Thursday.
