Prominent ‘Black Lives Matter’ activist and rapper Tef Poe has a message for “white people”: “Dear white people if Trump wins young niggas such as myself are fully hell bent on inciting riots everywhere we go. Just so you know,” Poe tweeted today. Poe is by no means a nobody, he has appeared in innumerable articles charting the rise of ‘Black Lives Matter’ and was credited with coining the phrase,“This ain’t your grandparents’ civil rights movement.” The rapper was one of the co-founders of Hands Up United, a “social justice” organization that emerged after the death of Michael Brown that...

The late evening of Aug. 9, 2014, I couldn’t sleep. I was due to substitute-anchor MSNBC’s “UP with Steve Kornacki” and should have been asleep. But after looking at my Twitter feed and reading the rage under #Ferguson, I felt compelled to type a reaction to the killing of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson. Tying the shooting to the inane whine of certain politicians about a “war on whites,” I decried the next morning the death of yet another unarmed black man at the hands of a white police officer. In those early hours and early days, there...

OAK PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Ottis Dugar, 86, and his 67-year-old wife Demitri still can't believe they were mistaken for armed thieves. Ottis is a Korean War veteran with glaucoma and Demitri is diabetic. They said the incident happened after they left their Oak Park Bank. Demtiri was driving Ottis to a Denny's when they were surrounded by Oak Park and River Forest police, all with guns drawn. "Yelling, 'Get out of the car! Put your hands up!' And when I'm having a bad knee, I cannot get out," Demitri said. "They asked me, 'Who's in the car?' I said...

A Texas resident grabbed his shotgun and shot and killed three men when they allegedly broke into his home, authorities said. Early Monday morning, one of the two residents of a trailer home in Channelview -- about 20 miles east of Houston -- heard a "commotion" outside, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. He then saw several men in dark clothing -- possibly one armed -- force their way inside, the sheriff said at a news conference. That resident ran to hide, while his roommate, armed with a shotgun, exchanged gunfire with the suspects, Gonzalez said. The armed resident...

Tony Terrell Robinson was experimenting with hallucinogenic drugs on the day he died, his uncle says. "He had made a bunch of changes. It was going to be the final step that would change his life around," Turin Carter said Thursday, adding that his nephew was "very inexperienced" with the drugs, believed to have been hallucinogenic mushrooms. The experiment ended in tragedy. After a friend and others called 911, Robinson, a biracial teenager, was shot and killed by a Madison police officer responding to the calls. Police have said that Robinson assaulted the officer. Also on Thursday, family members of...

The NBA consists of 76 percent black players. But blacks are just 13 percent of the country. Clearly, the league engages in racial discrimination against whites. Silly, right? Well, this is exactly what the sleight-of-hand Department of Justice pulled off to find that the Ferguson Police Department engages in "implicit and explicit racial bias"! The report insults anybody who's ever studied the statistics - or logic. The 105-page report concludes: "Ferguson's law enforcement practices are shaped by the City's focus on revenue rather than by public safety needs. This emphasis on revenue has compromised the institutional character of Ferguson's police...
  • WITNESSES TO MICHAEL BROWN SHOOTING FEARED CONTRADICTING ‘HANDS UP, DON’T SHOOT’ NARRATIVE

    Breitbart ^ | March 4, 2015 | by JOHN SEXTON
According to an 86-page report issued by the Department of Justice, six of the most credible witnesses to the shooting of Michael Brown were afraid to give testimony in support of Ferguson, MO, police officer Darren Wilson, because they knew it would undercut the “Hands up, don’t shoot” narrative being advanced by their neighbors and, eventually, by the media. Several expressed concern for their safety should they choose to contradict that narrative publicly. As one witness noted, there were signs in the neighborhood reading “snitches get stitches.” The fear experienced by witnesses to the incident is a constant refrain in...

A video posted to YouTube this week shows what appeared to be an elderly man being tasered by police with his hands up. The video, reportedly taken near Key West, Fla., shows two officers and an unidentified man during a traffic stop. The apparently older man slowly leaves his car with his hands raised and is tasered by one of the officers. Little is known about the incident in the video, which was originally taken down. An edited version of the video was uploaded Monday by a blog run by Info Wars.

Larry Elder at Real Clear Politics breathes essential statistical insight into the ongoing fight over whether or not white cops have a predilection for shooting black men: In 2012, according to the CDC, 140 blacks were killed by police. That same year 386 whites were killed by police. Over the 13-year period from 1999 to 2011, the CDC reports that 2,151 whites were killed by cops — and 1,130 blacks were killed by cops.Police shootings, nationwide, are down dramatically from what they were 20 or 30 years ago. The CDC reported that in 1968, shootings by law enforcement — called...

rotests against the grand jury decisions not to indict the police officers who killed Michael Brown and Eric Garner continued for a third consecutive night in Berkeley, Calif., yesterday, with more than 1,000 people blocking traffic. Protesters thronged both sides of Interstate 80 as well as train tracks in the city, forcing an Amtrak train to halt, the AP reports. The protests had started as a peaceful march earlier in the day; the group chanted, "Who do you protect? Peaceful protest!" at the Berkeley Police Department as officers in riot gear kept them from getting near. Then protesters sat outside...

If there is one uniting feature of the national protests surrounding the shooting death of Ferguson teen Michael Brown, it is the notion that he had his “hands up” just before his killing. Today, columns of protesters march in major American cities with their hands raised chanting “Hands up, don’t shoot.” The organization Hands Up United, an activist group which advocates for criminal justice reform and the firing and prosecution of a variety of Missouri-based law enforcement figures, was founded on this idea. Several of members of the news media have latched onto it, and some even suggest that...

Speaking on the House floor, members of the Congressional Black Caucus used the “Hands up! Don’t Shoot” gesture popular with Ferguson protesters reacting to the shooting of Michael Brown. “Hands up, don't shoot,” said Rep. Hakeem Jeffries. “It's a rallying cry of people all across America who are fed up with police violence.”

Pupils at a Welsh primary school were today left stunned when, of all people, Barack Obama and David Cameron walked into their classroom. Mr Obama greeted the smiling youngsters of Mount Pleasant Primary School in Welsh by saying ‘bore da’ - ‘good morning’. He then listened to a welcome message, thanking him for being the first serving US president to visit Wales. The road along Ruskin Avenue was faced by the sight of scores of police officers and the presidential convoy pulling up at the school gates. The president and Prime Minister were in Rogerstone, near Newport, ahead of the...
