Contrary to rumor, we here at Twitchy are not, in fact, the personal press agents for actor James Woods, LOL. We just happen to love the man because he drops so many truth bombs on Twitter, they're impossible to resist. Just this week, the two-time Academy Award nominee has epically dunked on Don Lemon, Eric Swalwell, and Joe Biden's unconstitutional college loan 'forgiveness' program. He's murdered more leftist narratives than Jack Crow did vamps in John Carpenter's Vampires. Last night, Woods set his sights on the gun control debate. With one single meme, Woods demolished leftist narratives on the gun...
  • “BORING” & “TEDIOUS”: John Morse No Fan Of Talking To Constituents ( CO Gun Grabber )

Senate President John Morse, facing a historic recall election over his anti-gun votes, was a little too honest in a Colorado Springs Gazette article today, saying that talking to his constituents door-to-door is “boring” and “tedious.” Usually it’s not smart politically to say you’re bored by talking with the very people you are seeking to keep you in office. ... This is not the first time Morse has spoken derisively of contact with constituents. When on MSNBC during the gun debate, Morse bragged about advising his fellow Democratic Senators to ignore emails from their constituents.
  • Christopher Swindell: Gun safety debate is B.S. (Flawed Argument)

Watching the celebration at the NRA convention over the defeat of background checks was the most nauseating experience of the day. I am not a New York gun control liberal, either. I support a shotgun for home defense, a handgun for limited conceal/carry, and an assortment of hunting rifles to balance West Virginia's exploding deer population (as evidenced by hourly collisions with cars). So, I am hardly out of the mainstream. But, the gun safety debate is B.S. This foaming at the mouth, Obamar is coming for the guns, Nanny Bloomberg is a bad billionaire, and most despicable of all,...
  • Summary of UN gun debate in Kings College, London - NRA's Wayne LaPierre vs IANSA's Rebecca Peters

I just watched the Gun Debate on Pay Per View. For $10, I decided to give it a try. It was on In Demand (channel 201 on my cable) at 9PM Eastern and is on again right now in my part of Michigan. I've heard LaPierre speak before, but never heard Peters speak. I actually got my money's worth, since Peters actually laid out her "Moderate" gun control agenda. I expected a completely blasting of the NRA and the US there since it was in London, but I thought it was handled very well. The moderator was professional and let...
  • London gun debate - Wayne La Pierre and Rebecca Peters (vanity)

Yesterday, I attended a televised debate on private firearms ownership at King's College Library, London, between Wayne La Pierre, of the NRA, and Rebecca Peters, Director of IANSA (International Action Network on Small Arms). It was a very civilised affair and though the audience was clearly passionate, it showed restraint for the most part and allowed the 2 debators to put their arguments forward clearly. Ms Peters' argument could be summed up as 'Guns are tools for killing people. Killing people is wrong, so guns are wrong.' She quoted various statistics to prove her point. I doubt that I need...

On Thursday night I will be on this one hour show, out of Harrisburg, PA. PCN is like C-Span for Pennsylvania. This show was the first show I was ever on, and my opponent failed to show! Here is what they sent me... "The Call-In Program format involves a short introductory discussion with the program host, and then the host will take viewer questions and comments for the majority of the remainder of the show. The program will focus on Gun Control. On average, we take approximately 20 calls per program. Bryan Miller, Executive Director of Cease Fire PA, will...
